Hi all, this is Calli! I know many of you, some I don't, if you want to know me better please feel free to friend me a

callirhoe and I will reciprocate! \o/

I am joining you all today with this fellow, Ty Hawkeswood. He's a Coppertale senior from northern Wisconsin, the school's first-ever male cheerleading captain, a scholarship kid from a rough background who is super motivated, super enthusiastic, and super competitive! He pretty much loves everything and everyone about Gooseberry, and he's really easy to get along with as long as you don't mind his crazy amount of energy. Aside from spending half his life on cheer, he also does Drama Club and Events Committee, he's taking Divination advanced study, and dabbles in basically every activity available on campus here and there; he especially loves music and can often be found hanging out in the music room working on songwriting (or cheer writing!), or hanging out down by the lake with a fishing pole. Most of all he wants to be where the people are. He wants to see, wants to see them dancing, etc.

So, I am definitely looking for friends! All kinds of friends! Maybe some killjoys who can't stand how energetic and cheerful he is! Coppertales, where my foxy cheerleaders at? Get in, losers, we're going shopping. And despite the persistent assumptions about male cheerleaders and his love of musicals and romantic comedies, Ty is totally straight and kind of a playa who's not looking for anything serious atm, so any ladies who would like to fool around with him should sign up below ↓

I have two characters! First is Nathaniel Bird (

flyover), Ebonhide Senior, Prefect, all-around over involved overachiever. He's a country kid from a dairy farm in Idaho and he's generally pretty nice? IDK TBH I'M STILL KIND OF FIGURING HIM OUT. BUT I'M SURE THEY CAN INTERACT, WHY NOT.

AND THE OTHER is Riley Stamper, aka this bitch. Azurcrest Junior, RIVAL CHEER SQUAD GRR. Also on Events Committee (though lbr, girlfriend is gonna get kicked off halfway through the year, she rages at people a lot) and Drama! Riley is probably going to flirt with Ty, despite the fact that she is, like, pretty gay. She's shameless.

Aww, Birdy! Ty definitely likes him, they should be buddies and bond over stuff. He's never really hunted but he comes from rural Wisconsin where camo and deer antlers are a major decorating motif, so they've got at least some background commonalities there. They also share avian last names so we should do something with that idk.

I feel like Ty has basically no gaydar, or at least feels that hope springs eternal, so he will be happy to be flirted with by Riley! Also, I just watched Bring It On for the first time in a decade in preparation for this role, and I am now EXTRA-EXCITED about cheerleading rivalries, yay!

Hi, I'm Chele! I just have Iris Shacklebolt at the moment, and she's a Coppertale Senior!

She's originally from England, and is the daughter of Kingsley Shacklebolt. This is her first year, so she's a bit nervous for it. Though she hides it well, she comes off as confident, she's polite but a little bit aloof at first. She's not comfortable with sharing a lot about herself, she sort of picks and chooses how much she wants to reveal. It takes her a while to warm up to people, though it is a bit easy talking to other students over the journals because you know it's not one on one, so it's less awkward. xD She's a good student, values a good education, hard working, stubborn, and can be a bit of a steamroller once she gets going.

Hi Chele! COPPERTALE IS BEST HOUSE, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO REGRET IT, IRIS! Also she should definitely try out for cheer, she knows she wants to and Ty will badger her about it anyway. He knows literally nothing about British wizarding anything, too, so he has no preconceptions from her name. :)

YAY CALLI, I know you 8) And I have three characters, NONE OF WHOM ARE LADIES WHO CAN FOOL AROUND WITH TY. That's a shame.

Reid Wainwright (this journal), junior Coppertale, and a member of the Coppertale Quidditch team! Reid is an unfriendly ice prince, but actually is just awkward with deplorable verbal skills. He's either very lazy, or infuriatingly stubborn and independent. He's easy to win over, though, so he probably likes Ty and is happy to let him be super enthusiastic... as long as he doesn't expect Reid to match that energy. Reid's also from a poorer family, and is here on a sports scholarship. He really struggles in class, though, and almost lost his scholarship last year.

Diego Morales (

morale) is a senior Azurcrest, and he's a fellow male cheerleader! Diego can't keep up the aggression to be a good rival, though, he's a lover not a fighter. Diego's also a musician and songwriter whose primary instrument is the guitar, so he and Ty probably run into one another a lot! Diego and Ty would be very!!! Enthusiastic!!! Friends!!! Diego isn't as loud or manic, I don't think, but he looooves people and is deeply insecure so over-performs to make sure everyone loves him. Uh, he's also a wealthy pureblood who stumbled into being a folky hipster.

Then there's Calvin Evercreech, who's a sophomore Ribbonfin, and a Hogwarts exchange student. He used to be an awful Slytherin bully, but since coming to Gooseberry he got knocked down a few pegs and now he's at the bottom of the food chain. He's... gotten better. He's still really whiny and kind of mean-spirited, but he's protective of Ribbonfin and can handle people being mean back at him pretty well. I don't think he and Ty will talk often, but handsome senior boys get him flustered.

Ty loves his Coppertales (okay, so he loves everybody, but ESPECIALLY his Coppertales) and I think he would've taken Reid's awkward chilliness as OH, HE'S JUST SHY and kept right on being his cheery self. (Pun!) So yeah, friends, whether Reid totally agrees with that or not. :P

And oh my gosh I love Diego already and Ty does too! I mean, he's in cheer for the ladies mostly, but he would totally bond with his fellow male cheerleaders like the first day. Solidarity, brah! AND they should jam out together and be those annoying guitar guys around every campfire ever. <3

Ty does not appreciate people being mean to each other and he is not about bullies, so Calvin is def not one of his FAVES. Sorry! But he'll be cool generally!

Reid agrees! Reid is... easy to win over with a little bit of effort. So he likes Ty, and considers him ~part of the team~. He'll always have Ty's back, in his stilted, awkward way.

Awesome!!! Diego got into cheer for the ladies too but now he likes it and he's buds with the girls. And now also buds with Ty! Who he thinks is just SUCH A COOL GUY. And yes, absolutely, so many sensitive dude campfire singing sessions. <3

Calvin's luckily not a bunny anymore, so much as he's just HARD TO LIKE, so it's totally understandable that Ty's not a fan. At this point he gets picked on a lot by Sy. Calvin's Regan's BFF and she mostly keeps him in check nowadays.

Hi Calli! I'm Manx and we don't know each other, but I am looking forward to changing that!!

I play Ursula (introed here) and she is a year behind Ty, BUT they are on Event Committee together!! And they both take Divination, but probably not for the same reasons. (Also you made a Little Mermaid reference and I had to resist just filling an entire application with them for Ursula, so hee!)

ANYWAY. Ty seems like he would be super easy to chatter at and Ursula very much enjoys chattering at people. (Also thank goodness the Event Committee has some people who really just want to have fun???) IDK if her behaviour would bother him or not. Ack, I'm so bad at these.

I feel like Ty is the sort who can't help himself, he needs to know the gossip even if he will frown if it's mean-spirited. So he might kind of tsk at Ursula sometimes for stirring up things which are not her business, but totally also wants to hear what she knows BECAUSE. He's not perfect, okay! I can see them being friends for sure. <3

CALLIIIIIIIIIII

OK this is the Captain Sy to your Captain Ty. Sy is an alpha male douchebag but he can be pretty fun if you can navigate his ego. Sy is very privileged and insensitive compared to Ty, but I like to think by now if Ty was like DUDE NOT COOL, Sy would kind of listen. I would love for them to be friends, because Sy is definitely one of those people who has the drive and enthusiasm to match Ty, and they will be an unbeatable Quidditch bro power couple (what's a better term for that?? brotp????).

Mina (

resentfully) is a senior Ebonhide who knows Ty well from Event Committee. They've probably butted heads from time to time when he insisted on making events more inclusive, which is less because Mina dislikes inclusivity than she dislikes ceding power to anyone. But she has to respect Ty for being so hardworking and involved in extracurriculars. Mina's kind of prickly, but maybe a past fling might work???

Ravi (

paladins) is a senior Ribbonfin prefect who's not quite as ENERGETIC as Ty, but they should be friendly at least because they're both nice dudes who like to talk to people. c:

Oh, I am all for this unstoppable brotp! I think Ty would totally put the brakes on Sy if he's especially being a douche, but in as nice a way as possible. He loves it when people are all in, though, so I think they'll just have a lot of fun together. :3

Haha, stubborn kids! Ty will likewise admire Mina, and I'm all for past makeouts, possibly after butting heads in a particularly tense Event Committee meeting because that really gets the blood flowing amirite? ;)

And I love Ravi and I want to see him blossom and so does Ty, who thinks his passion is kind of amazing. (Ty isn't so much a geek exactly, except for cheer, but I feel like dedicated geekery in other people really impresses him and he is so inspired by people who clearly love those things. CHEER RIVAL! Ty takes competition seriously so watch out, Tabs! But rivalries aside, he totally loves all the cheer ladies and is there to commiserate about inconsiderate guys. He doesn't exactly want to be a rebound, haha, because that sounds messy, but he'd be up for something casual. <33

And I think he'd really like and admire Dominic, as he does pretty much everybody. :P They seem like they'd mesh pretty well, and Ty isn't really a rulebreaker, which I'm sure the prefect part of Dominic appreciates. :)

Calli!!!! :D This is Emily and I've got two ladies here. Bailey is a Canadian junior Ebonhide who grew up on a bison ranch. She's pretty quiet, loves animals. She's not outgoing or confident enough to mess with Ty.

However my other character is Faye Turner

overturn, Quidditch player for Coppertale and she is super outgoing and socially active and confident and she totally would.

Ty is THE LITERAL WORST with animals and he has no idea why (probably because animals can sense that he has no chill), so he admires Bailey's skills there, but he might not have too much to talk with her about? They don't have activities or anything in common, so idk.

But he definitely would be awesome friends with Faye and cheers super hard for her and would like to make out with her sometime after practice ;)

Yeah you're probably right that they don't have much to talk about and may not really interact. Could change in-game, but not much for now where they're concerned.

But yes! I mean to say that he and Faye should be friends regardless. Coppertale are THE BEST and he's clearly the best cheer captain the school has seen, so. And totally up for making out after practice. :)

Hi Calli! I am Sara and I have three!

This girl is Regan Hobbs aka Ree aka that tall gangly girl with the technicolor hair (so, different from the little tiny one, HI RILEY.) She's a sophomore Azurcrest, but she basically makes it a point to know everyone, so. I am sure she and Ty are familiar, she would want to be his pal.

Isaiah Covington

icovington is a senior Ribbonfin, he is v. much Ty's opposite in that he is a big introvert but he is super focused on music so they obviously are in the music room together a lot.

And lastly I have Gabi Flores

gabiflor who is a sophomore Ribbonfin who is pretty much just as cheerful as Ty sounds. She's a big optimist but super naive. She's also in Cheer so they might have run into each other that way at some point.

Hi Sara!

Ty is cool with ALL THE PALS, and Azurcrests are the funnest so naturally he wants to be her buddy. He thinks Ree's hair is awesome! Let's make out.

I feel like Isaiah would have to be used to Ty's constant enthusiastic interruptions by this point, so hopefully they can be kinda friends? He loves watching other people do things they really love, so Isaiah and music makes him really happy. <3 D'aww.

AND Ty loves all his cheer ladies and will be super encouraging even though Gabi's not on his team! He loves optimism! <3

Ree's hair IS awesome. And yes if they have not already made out in the past they should definitely make out at some point soon XD And be snuggly on him. SNUGGLEBUDDIES.

I don't think Isaiah would dislike Ty's enthusiasm at all, just be a little intimidated by it. But yes, he's def. used to it by now and he probably simultaneously envies him that easy cheerfulness and also wants to be around it anyway. So kinda friends works.

Hi Calli! I'm Madeline and I've got two here:

This girl here is Sylla Borgin, junior Ribbonfin, Hogwarts exchange student, and she's not in any of Ty's extracurriculars and she prefers particularly bloody productions of Shakespeare over musicals but she's talkative and curious and friendly all the same. Since someone else said it was accurate I'll just say it - she's a Guillermo Del Toro Disney princess. She's creeping around so they'll have ran into eachother!

And then I've got Holden Bright -

blinkah, junior Ribbonfin, quidditch seeker, and the shyest jock there ever was. Being in a musical (or basically on stage in front of everyone if it's not Quidditch) is his nightmare, but he finds himself easily roped into being involved and dealing with it. With grumbles and shrugs, but that still counts :P Do with him as you will!

i have kurt wolfhart, who's a ribbonfin senior in drama with him. i'm not sure if they would cross paths much otherwise, but if you have any ideas, lmk! kurt is a very shy/timid lil guy with a stutter and a love for animals. he wouldn't be where the party is (UNTIL NOW, AS HE IS TRYING TO BECOME KURT 2.0 - SOCIAL GUY @ LARGE) but he would definitely spend a fair amount of time kicking around the waterside (docks incl.) because he likes to spend a lot of his time wandering the grounds.

Hi Kas! DRAMA CLUB, WOOO, and Ty has absolutely no knack with animals but he does love fishing, does that count? :P He's super happy to be seeing Kurt at all the parties these days and will try to keep him from being a wallflower if possible! :)

So Chris is probably the killjoy. He's the coppertail beater and in the same year as Ty. And they have a ton of classes together so while Chris is a bit of a killjoy, they've been in the same house together for the last three full years so I imagine they're friends? And Chris has gotten used to Ty's ridiculous enthusiasm that no living human should have.

SUP ROOMIE! I am almost 100% that Ty loves Chris and has considered them friends since day 1, even if Chris didn't. Haha. (He is such a cutie, too, oh my gosh.) He probably teases him a bit about being a grumpy Gus, but I feel like they've got a lot in common what with having dads out of the picture and having to be responsible from a young age, so on a deeper level Ty definitely understands and respects him. <33

Good. Chris does not consider them friends from day one, but it's a mutual respect now lol and he's probably quite fond of Ty now... so long as Ty doesn't get adventurous and try to wake Chris up at any form of early hour in any kind of way.

But yeah, I imagine they have a mutual form of teasing too, because Chris probably teases him a bit about him being a weird new breed of enthusiastic robots.

Calli! This is Crystal, and I have one character right now, Irene Lovelace, a senior in Ebonhide. The best way to sum her up is that she's an American version of Charlotte. She's in drama club with Ty, and would be friendly. She might also be kind of interested in fooling around with him.

As soon as I saw that journal I knew I was going to be saying HELLO CRYSTAL! (Sorry for the late response -- holiday weekend, etc.) Gosh, Ty thinks she's super pretty and would definitely be into making out. It can be practice for drama club in case they get the romantic leads this year! Or even if they don't. :P

Hey there! I'm Emma and I have Katya Ivanova. She's a junior in Azurcrest and sort of does a little of everything. She tends to be super nice to anyone and energetic doesn't bother her at all as she tends to be a bit hyper and happy to be here. Sure she will at the very least sweep in and talk a lot at him!

I'm Ali and I have Levi here, who's an Azurcrest senior and plays Chaser. He's into music too and is Diego's band ANNNDDD he's part of the drama club! He mostly tries on costumes and does improv because he has no focus, time, or dedication to learn a script, but he plays the piano for people's audition pieces and for musicals.

Hi Ali! I LOVE LEVI ALREADY THOUGH, just saying. And so does Ty, except he kind of frowns on picking fights, but he can't stay mad~ I think they'll have good times together.

Anywayyy I have two girls, first up is Pippa Nightingale who's a Ribbonfin sophomore and Hogwarts exchange student new to Gooseberry this year. She has anxiety issues and tries to cover them up by being enthusiastic! about! all! the! things! and I think she's going to fall a little bit in love with Ty, jsyk.

My other girl is Henrietta Gray (who goes by Het or Etta as her first name has way too many syllables, thanks). She's a senior and the new Azurcrest Quidditch captain, taking over from her sister who was captain for the last two years. THE GRAY LEGACY CONTINUES. She's always up for fooling around so helloooo Ty. Etta's competitive too but she enjoys the banter, so I think these two will get on really well!
