HEY it's JJ again I will make this super quick!

This is Ivy Templeton, Laurel's twin sister. She's a Ribbonfin senior and a SUPER SCHOLAR. She's very academically focused, but doesn't really know what she wants to do with her life yet, which has been the source of a lot of anxiety for her recently.

She has voluntarily decided to write a novel-length dissertation on magical linguistics for her senior project (catch her in the library ALWAYS).
She's super sweet, but surprisingly good at jinxes and hexes, so don't mess with her.
She likes to mastermind pranks, so if you want to be part of her prank heist crew hit me up.
She has a very, very mean cat that has most definitely bitten your ankles at least once. He likes to hide under furniture and get at people who least suspect it.
And she's the kind of person who will wake up the entire Ribbonfin cabin if there's a spider in the bathroom. SOMEONE ELSE DEAL WITH IT PLEASE

She's in charms, hermeticism, history of magic, transfiguration, potions, magical aesthetics, defense against the dark arts, and Animagus studies. She stops by the juniors' Angimaus lessons regularly.

Her extracurriculars are archery, boating, fencing & duelling, gaming, and event committee.

For plot-stuff: friends of course! An academic rival/frenemy! Maybe an ex boyfriend or two if anyone's up for that! And whatever else you have to throw at me.

Hello! I have two and one will have more relevance than the other.

Anuhea is in her dorm. I think they would get along well they are similar but not. She would totally respect her senior project choice. They have overlapping classes, and they are both in archery. She is also in Animagus studies so yay. Also not sure if she would know what she did to Tabitha in the whole helped Diego cheat even if she didn't know he was still with her but she probably shouldn't have anyway cause it would have been a short break up. So if she knows... that could impact things.

And Charlotte here is a sophomore Coppertale. She is loud and bossy and a prefect and she is an awful person. Not sure how much overlap they have but they are in event committee together.

ROOMMATE DRAMA! I don't know if she would know - I guess it depends on how public all that was - but Ivy's kind of a pathological mediator so she might try to bridge the tension anyway. I doubt she'd want to out and out pick sides. She probably mostly tries to stay out of it. ALSO Ivy's been kind of struggling with Animagus studies so she could definitely use some support there

Yes! Event committee. Event committee is another fun combination of characters I'm excited for lmao.

Anuhea has never advertised it but you can totally feel the tension anyway. It does need to be eased. As for Animagus Studies, she can totally help there. Anuhea's thing outside of quidditch is transfiguration so she is happy to help. She hasn't done the full form but been close.

I know it is such an interesting selection of people the event committee.

Zoey is also hella relevant & i'm v curious! they're dormmates, in a lot of the same classes, and share a similar academic intensity, just in different areas --- buut have some personality differences that might make a friendship interesting c': i could see bonding over future-related anxiety & lil library dates maybe! also z would 100% come catch spiders ;-; cool bugs forever.

I can definitely see them getting along. Ivy could probably use a calm and chill presence to level her out a little bit haha. And she's in the bed next to Zoey's too! Bunkmates~

Quinn is probably super into her studious nature. If Ivy wants in on study times, she is there~ they also share a bunch of classes, Archery, and Event Committee. And Quinn's Laurel's roomie. It seems that Laurel is more into Quinn's LET'S PARTY side, but that Quinn could also be pretty good friends with Laurel, esp. if they hang out and study together a bunch?

Kurt is in her house and the year below. Aside from Animagus Studies they don't have much in common school-wise, but you can bet that he would be there in a heartbeat to gently usher out that spider. All the going "shhh, it's okay, they won't hurt you little spidey, come on, that's right! good spidey! that's my little arachnid! yeeeeah, who's the cutest spider? *points at spider* you are!" and then also probably trying to keep it as a pet.

She could always use a good study buddy! I think she's probably a little intimidated by Quinn's strong sense of direction in life, but she'd admire it too.

Ivy HATES bugs so she's glad to have so many intrepid housemates. Especially since she'd feel bad if all the spiders were getting SQUISHED just because she can't take a shower with one staring her down. Thank you, catch-and-releasers of Ribbonfin. You all do good work.

Hi! Addy likes Laurel lots and would honestly think Ivy is pretty great, because MASTERMIND PRANKS and OMG SO SMART. This is not lots of overlap or anything but she'd respect her!

So Chris and her are in the same year and they share five classes and three clubs. But I also feel like Chris would like her quite a bit (curse you people for making awesome characters that are ruining Chris's natural disposition) because she's smart and funny, and I feel like that'd appeal to Chris's smart side.

So I think they should be bros regardless but also possible exes? Chris isn't a player when he's dating someone. He has a very strong sense of loyalty. And he's less of a dick lol but he's also chill and accepting enough that I like to imagine he's fully capable of remaining friends with people after they break up. So that's entirely up to whether he's someone ivy would date.

My phones being a dick so I can't proof read all this but I'm hoping all the sentences made sense.

I can see them being exes! Especially if they dated in like freshman/sophomore year? And I'd be good with them still being friends after breaking up. Ivy's not like, a bad girlfriend or anything, but I definitely think that dating has always been like a second-string priority for her after her schoolwork. So I imagine between that and the short attention spans of teenagers, she's probably had a few relationships that just fizzled out and ended amicably. Plus I like the idea of them as this kind of mismatched little baby underclassmen couple and everyone was like "what? you two?"

Chris playing bad cop to Ivy's too nice attitude just reminded me that I never responded to this >_>

But I'm down with them dating as Freshmen or sophomores. Especially in the beginning when Chris was extreme about overworking himself because this is the first magic school he's been to, so he feels super behind everybody else. So yeah, I can see that relationship fizzling out, but being super adorable while it was going on. And now they're just friends in which case he sometimes plays bad cop to Ivy because she's too nice for her own good srsly.

HELLOOOOOO, I have four characters and I always get intimidated just introducing them, lol I did this to myself. I'LL BE BRIEF WITH THEM.

1. Nathaniel Bird. Ebonhide Senior, prefect, FELLOW ACADEMIC BEAST. He's heading for a breakdown haha screw you Nate. He's in a couple of her clubs, but THE REAL FOCUS IS CLASSES. He is available for a rivalry in the following: Charms, Hermeticism, transfig, Potions, and Animagus studies. HE ALSO HAS NO CLUE WHAT TO DO WITH HIS LIFE, WHY CAN'T HE JUST BE GOOD AT SCHOOL FOR A LIVING??

2. Riley Stamper. Azurcrest Junior, cheerleader, events committee, mostly just a pain in the ass.

3. Rosemary Stoker. Ribbonfin Junior, prefect, and likely to come stomping into the bathroom all FINE IF YOU NEED A SPIDER KILLED I'LL DO IT JESUS. They p much only have Fencing & Duelling together but SAME HOUSE, YAY. Rosy used to be a crazy super scholar too, but for the sake of her own sanity she's had to ~relax~ and allow herself like an A- once in a while, but those habits are still there. 4. Robin Youngblood WHO IS MY NEWBIE. Coppertale Senior, kind of a rascally asshole. They have charms, transfig, Potions, DADA, and a couple clubs. He is all up in the duelling club, and also in gaming club he's probably going to be the guy to end up throwing the Wiimote at the TV and ruining it for everyone.

Nate & Clementine: Clem's also an Ebonhide but a year below him. I don't know if they'd interact that much but she's. super annoying. so she will perhaps annoy him at some juncture

Riley & Ivy: yeah not much overlap here but again events committee is a treasure trove of strong personalities lmao. I bet those are fun meetings.

Riley & Clementine: I bet Clementine thinks Riley is like, the coolest person in the world. Pay attention to her, Riley. She can do a backflip

Rosy & Ivy: a) plant names ftw b) I keep imagining like EVERYONE getting out of bed to come deal with this spider that's terrorizing Ivy. It's a five-person spider. c) TEACH HER HOW TO RELAX HONESTLY

Rosy & Clementine: they're in the same year but really don't have much overlap at all. Clem's also good at avoiding the prefects lmao she doesn't trust you guys

Robin & Ivy: even though Ivy's not in LARP herself she is quietly delighted by their weird antics. PLUS she would be on board with his quest to figure out the anonymous writer mystery. SHE'S ROOTING FOR YOU

Robin & Clementine: have already talked a little! I don't know how well they'd know each other being from different houses and years but she thinks he's cool

So, Rafael is my newest character, a senior Coppertale. He can be an academic rival because he is horrifically competitive. He's in duelling and gaming with her, where he gets way too caught up in winning. I can offer him as an ex, but only for when they were freshmen, or late last year when they were juniors, since all the time between that he was in a relationship.

Diego is another senior, but in Azurcrest. He's friends with Laurel, and he's also a chronic people pleaser who wants to be loved so badly that he does stupid things a lot. He's sweet and attentive, but impulsive and self-centered. Last year he dated Tabitha, Ivy's roommate, and then cheated on her with Anuhea... Ivy's other roommate. I can also offer him as an ex if you want in on that drama but Diego is a hot mess and needs to leave all those sweet Ribbonfins alone.

Reid is a year below in Coppertale, and he'll know her through archery and animagus studies He's quiet and icy, but Ivy's probably seen enough of him to know he's more awkward than rude. While Ivy's good at everything and struggles in Animagus Studies, Reid sucks at everything and is good in Animagus Studies.

Calvin is a sophomore Ribbonfin, and he's in event committee. He's nicer to his fellow Ribbonfins than he is to anyone else, usually, but he's still got all those sharp edges. He probably likes Ivy, and he's also extremely academically focused, but he's a bit of a whiner with a bad attitude.

I think they definitely work as academic rivals haha. She's not exactly competitive but she does love duelling and I can see the two of them like getting too into it and seriously jinxing each other. DON'T GET HER BANNED FROM DUELLING, RAFAEL. I gotta sort out her dating history (what am I supposed to do with all these BOYFRIENDS) but I'll get back to you on that! I think if they did date it was probably super short lived lmao

SHE'S TRYING SO HARD TO AVOID THE DIEGO DRAMA. I think separate of all that she probably likes him just fine but she's tiptoeing around the whole situation cause she's gotta live with her roommates for the rest of the year still lmao.

Wes joneses HARD for the Templeton girls, I apologize ahead of time. Expect him to flirt incessantly during classes and Boating. He actually focuses during Potions, because that is what he came here for, but other than that it is open season for the charm bomb to explode.

Sylla is in dueling with her! She has a weird kinship for girls to kick the boys' asses during dueling, because weaponized femininity is her jam. She's talkative and sweet so she'll be around.

And Holden is scared of all older cute girls but if she's likely to talk to him, he's a good boy and will talk back and hope he doesn't screw it all up to hell.

Oh my god. Honestly Ivy probably falls for it. HE'S CUTE AND TALL AND SOUTHERN SO SUE HER.

She'd always be nice to Holden! She's the kind of person who makes glitter posters for Quidditch games so she's probably got one for him that has a pun on his name on it. PUN PENDING. Gotta think of a good one

HI! I'm Aleena! I'm new and this is my gal, Cressida Quayle (but she goes by Cricket)! She's an Ebonhide Senior Prefect and also very academically focused, though she's not all that naturally gifted so she works REALLY HARD. Ivy and Cricket probably spend a lot of time in the library together. I can see them being friends!

Pippa is a Ribbonfin sophomore, so she'll see Ivy around their camp! She's happy to let everyone else deal with the spiders though; Pippa appreciates their place in the food chain (they eat mosquitoes and flies, which is good!) but I don't think she wants to get up close and personal with one.

Henrietta will know Ivy better, as they're in several classes together plus Archery and Boating! I said in Laurel's intro that "Het probably made a point of learning to tell Ivy and Laurel apart pretty early on" bc Het has an older sister and she gets wanting to be ~separate~ and not seen as a package deal. Anyhoo she'll be friendly!
