Crashing in here!! Hi, my name is Bekka and I know I am super late. Please forgive me for that. I've had a crazy week and everyone here is so awesome I was feeling a little overwhelmed figuring out how everything works, buuuut I think I've pretty much got it down. It's been a minute since I've been in a group setting, so I'm re-adjusting myself. Any pointers or a hand to hold would be more than welcome, ehehe.

Anyway, onto the important part. I bring you Wren Tracy. He is Chinese-American, and though his feet have been dipped deep into his ancestor's culture, he's never set foot outside the U.S.A. He's got kind of a spark-like personality and will likely get excited by anyone he can verbally spar with-- or probably anyone he can physically spar with, let's be real. He is practiced in Shaolin Kung Fu, and he enjoys that sort of thing. He is also a painter! He's sensitive, though, so he might snap if someone criticizes him. But as it says in his concept, his bark is usually just that.

He's a dodgy little sophomore fox, so outside of classes he can be found wandering around the Coppertale cabin area, or really anywhere in the grounds. He's more of the type to be led or inspired into any trouble than to actually break the rules for his own personal reasons. He does have his family's honor to uphold, after all, being the first one to make it into such a good school.

His classes are: Charms, Outdoor Education, Potions, Transfiguration, Aesthetic Magic, Astronomy, and Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Anyway, I am open to all sorts of plots. I'd love to dig into this character even more than I already have, so if anything comes to mind, please throw it at me ♥ I'm also definitely excited to plot with the other Coppertale Sophomore boys(because roommate fun), and all of the Coppertales and Sophomores in general. He might also be likely to bug upperclassmen like he's not a little runt, honestly. He has no real propriety >_> So, yeah, there's all of that. I would add more, but I have to run to work because I have poor timing choices. Anyway, I look forward to meeting everyone and having some fun here!!

my name is cameron, and i have a nightmarish number of characters (6!!!) and i'm gonna c/p some of their intro blurbs b/c im a lazy bum.

most relevant to wren is definitely marie patterson (prophesie). marie is a coppertale sophomore and a disaster child with a tendency to get swept up in random, short lived Passions ... at the expense of her genuine talent, music, which she takes much less seriously. marie is ott and performative and very extroverted, so people tend to find her either exciting or overwhelming. she's likely to get up in wren's business and will definitely push him to break a rule or two, lmao.

my other sophomore is tobias rush (norush), a ribbonfin sophomore with the body of a 25 year old and the personality of a golden retriever: friendly! helpful! easy-going! pretty fuckin dumb! when he's not playing quidditch with the ribbonfin team, he can be found dispensing increasingly-questionable wisdom. recently voted "least likely to verbally spar with anyone," i'm afraid.

this here is cassius holcomb; he's a coppertale junior and a prefect. cash is a overachiever whose ruthless independence is being slowly ground down by his wonderful, trashcan friends, lmao. he's famously laconic, but he appreciates a good debate more than most things, so he'd be (perhaps surprisingly) willing to trade quips with wren.

zachary zheng (readingrainbows) is another junior prefect; he's in azurcrest. zach is a big nerd and a consummate do-gooder who's really just trying his best to keep things together, sometimes unsuccessfully. he's also the first in his family to have access to a good education, so he can relate to wren on that front! and he's generally just nicer to talk to than cash, lol.

jonah pitchford (exacerbate) is a ribbonfin junior and basically irrelevant except that he and his twin sister, JD, are accomplished martial artists. JD is trying to get a martial arts day put on the calendar (i think???), so jonah may make it into wren's orbit via that. he does taekwondo, tho.

And lastly (PHEW), ulysses quayle (ulixes), ebonhide senior, is basically useless to you. he might be a recognisable figure b/c he's one of the captains of the ebonhide quidditch team. AND I'M DONE.

Hi Bekka!! Welcome to Gooseberry. :] I'm Jenny and I am bad at intro posts BUT I'm looking forward to playing with you! Here are the horrors you can expect to see from me:

Nisha Lewis godzillabutworse is a Coppertale Sophomore!! She is a hotshot Quidditch chaser and an absolute terror who mostly means well but gets very into the chaos of the sophomore class. She likes to bully the Coppersoph boys so Wren will have to endure that. As far as verbal sparring goes, you're dealing with an internet troll incarnate so...don't expect actual good sparring?

Griffin Flowers cosmonot is an Azurcrest Sophomore. He's Azurcrest's keeper, an astronomy nut and a very lazy boy. His family owns a squonk farm in Amish country, and they're very isolated from muggles, so he doesn't really get muggle stuff at all. Griffin's nice and naive and just wants to party and have fun in a low energy way.

Antonia Papadakis heyitsnia is an Ebonhide Senior. She's the Head Girl. Nia's a bit of a party girl who mostly tries to keep that under wraps while at school. She's no nonsense about the rules, but is willing to look the other way so her peers can have their fun, as long as they're safe.

Lucas Kowalksi bubblewrapped is an Azurcrest Junior. He's the Charms TA, a hypochondriac, a loser nerd goth and an aspiring auror.

Yancey Montgomery hotdish is a Ribbonfin Senior. He's LARP president and he likes making fake weapons and armor in art and artificing classes! A nice boy.

Daniel Notoriano graysanatomyforkids is a Coppertale Senior. He's an asshole. Can almost definitely be goaded into arguments.

Ahh!! Welcome welcome!!! My name is Alex and I also have 6 characters, it's hell. BUT!! One of them is a Coppersoph!

SO, Dinah Dixon (dinahdanger) is a Coppertale sophomore girl and she is... a lot of personality. She's loud, stubborn, feisty, and has an overactive imagination. She writes and draws her own comic book series that is essentially self-insert friendfiction (so they're both in Aesthetic Magic! Just different kinds of art), throws her elbows around in Quidditch as a reserve for the Coppertale team, and can be found anywhere something dangerous and ill-advised is happening. Dinah is kind of an awkward goober but that translates to a lot of over the top confidence and she is not above affectionately bullying boys. Hey Wren I have this great idea for a bad thing to do!!!

The rest, with one somewhat relevant child and then a whole bunch of other garbage to make you read, I apologize:
Georgiana Mills (wholegrain) is a Coppertale Senior and Prefect! She's sweet, compassionate, total hippie chick. The senior Coppertale prefects are mostly concerned with just keeping you children alive this year instead of scolding everyone, so, uh, please stay alive and think twice about doing dangerous things. They've managed to keep you kids alive so far??

Rosemary Stoker (browbeats), Ribbonfin Senior and overprotective prefect. Rosy bothers Coppertale a lot and has her eye on the entire sophomore class. All y'all are clearly trouble.

Jefferson Key (racingstripe), Azurcrest Junior, athlete, and all around sweet, excitable, loud boy. Jeffy is very busy at the moment but he loves everyone?!?!?!

Austin McNamara (soundscaped), Ebonhide Junior, acoustic guitar kid. He seems to bother Coppertale a lot too. Or maybe they bother him. He's a sensitive, awkward mess.

And finally, Riley Stamper (riledup)! Azurcrest Senior and just generally a hot mess. She likes to party, sleep in, then beg for attention, and is barely aware of what's going on outside her little Riley Bubble.

pandora lacey, this journal, is an azurcrest sophomore & reserve for their quidditch team. pan's v academically oriented, a jack of all trades, flits from topic of interest to topic of interest, etc. she's generally friendly and open-minded and agreeable, but also kind of a lil weirdo. she also has a brother, heathcliff, in coppertale. so!! idk, i can usually count on panda to mostly get along w people, so she's available as a friend for wren if you want!! they're in a few classes together. ♥ she would be fascinated by his painting.

phineas bones (phin) is a coppertale senior & hufflepuff transfer student. he's a tinkerer and a careless eccentric, but capable of hard work when he feels like it. his mum is the last living daughter of edgar bones. somehow. he's also v good at transfiguration, putting things off until the last second, popping up in random places, and subtly (/not-so-subtly) making fun of people. phin is kind of treating this place like it's not real. wren's likely to run into him in the context of being in the same house, but they're also in dueling and fencing & OE together :u they also share interest in art.

i also play madison ives (cupquake, ribbonfin junior & cheer captain. she's from a shady pureblooded family & suffers an extremely over-involved show mom. mads is generally agreeable, if somewhat artificial and overly concerned with image. she generally comes across as much more shallow than she is. she's also a martial arts kid (there are a handful in ribbonfin) so there's a potential of bonding over that....?

last is my dear son jonathan wilde (destructobot), senior ebonhide, keeper for the ebonhide & school teams, skateboarding gardener, secret poet. he's not as much of a grump as he used to be, but he is rather aloof. wren probably sees him at dueling and fencing & OE, but idk how much overlap they'd have beyond that .-.

Hey, Bekka! I'm Mel and I feel like we played somewhere together before but honestly the RP games online are like an incestuous orgy, I swear.

ANYWAY I only have three characters unlike these losers!

Juniper Crane, this journal here, is the one who will be most pertinent. She's a Sophomore, in Azurcrest, also Chinese-American, speaks Mandarin, and they have several classes and D&F together! She's from NYC (Upper East Side girl, represent), is very outgoing and reads a ton. She's usually found with her two best friends, Miguel and Quentin, who are his roommates, so he sees Juniper A LOT. I'd love to chat about how they get along!

Gwen Popplestone, gwenniepop is a senior Ribbonfin, and doesn't have a lot of overlap. She is president of the Equestrian Club, which does things with OE sometimes, so it's probably in the realm of 'know who each other are'.

Thaddeus 'Teddy' Butterfield, butterbear is a junior Ebonhide, also not with a lot in common. But you never know? We can play it by ear and see.

So we've got one with tons of connections, and two with nothing, eh, good enough!

Hey hey, I'm Roz, welcome to the game!

I have three people, but the most relevant is Quentin Youngblood. Quentin is Wren's cabin mate and fellow coppertale Sophomore. He's kinda a polarizing character. But it feels like him and Wren should moderately get along at the very least? Quentin like sparring verbally and physically, and says mostly every single thing that comes to mind as it comes to mind. He's from a hardcore conspiracy influenced family, and half the time he buys into conspiracy, and the other half - he trolls people by turning everything into a conspiracy. And if Wren needs somebody to influence him into trouble, Quentin is also awesome for that. So I FEEL like they should get along to a degree? If you're down for that.

Much less relevant I have two juniors.

Evangeline Bagman is the neice of the famous Ludo Bagman, esteemed quidditch star, much less esteemed swindler. She's a Hogwarts transfer, new this year. She is originally from Gryffindor, and is now currently in Ribbonfin. She's a chaser on their quidditch team, and practically grew up on a broom, but she has a billion and one other extracurricular interests. Eve is mostly a chill kinda of person. She has a very strong East End, London accent, so everything she says sounds WAY stronger and harsher than she means it to. But she's also into dance and building automaton creations and reading and befriends people relatively easily. So she'd probably like Wren just fine, and if she doesn't, she'd probably still find him relatively entertaining.

And Solomon Webb is in Ebonhide and also a chaser for the ebonhide quidditch team. He is basically the personification of sunshine. He's impossibly kind and forgiving. He has an insane love for learning about new shit about history but also new shit about people. He honestly loves befriending people and understanding them, and Solo will love Wren by default. Like even if Wren was a little shit - Solo still knows Wren by name and acknowledges him happily every time he passes Wren because to Solo - they're totally friends, even if they're not in reality.

That's all I have, but I'm open to all kinds of plots and if you ever wanna iron down the disposition of the coppertale cabin in vivid detail, we can all totally start up a group email and spitball everything. I hope you enjoy your time here :)
