Hiiiii everyone, it's Meggie, your worst mod, here with the first of what's sure to be an exciting influx of 6th characters. This season will reveal to us which of our players have no self-control.

Ophelia is a bossy emotional basketcase who's here to yell at people and act like a big damn hero. You can read all about her here, but...

• Ophelia wasn't here last year! She was over at Hogwarts for the exchange student program. She came back to Gooseberry because she was so upset to have missed what she's sure would have been her Harry Potter moment.


• She's the new Outdoor Exploration president! She rules with an iron fist and some screechy yelling. Get ready for some camping trips and chopping wood.


• She's sporty, so if anyone wants to play something other than Quidditch, Ophelia's all over it.


• Her father is the Director of the MACUSA Auror Agency, and Ophelia dreams of being a big shot Auror just like him.


• She's very emotional, but a lot of the time she's just happy and excitable. She can easily veer into being overbearing and critical. Teenager with a lot of moodswings.


• Ultra perfectionist.


• Big flirt please give her attention!!! Recently coming to terms with liking girls too so she's trying that on for size!!! Is kind of mean to boys!!!


• It's easy to tell this girl is overcompensating like hell for low self-esteem.


• I'm sorry.

I'm looking for friends of course, as well as people who think she's insufferable because... she is. Flings maybe? Freshman year ex-boyfriend?

Ophelia's also going to try and bully someone into being her dance date and her high tea date. Her type is usually meek guys so... look out, sweet boys of Gooseberry.

of all my characters, i think old man cassius is the most likely to think she's Too Much? in general, he has a low tolerance for mood swings and an even lower tolerance for ppl w self-esteem issues, so if he can smell that on her, he's likely to raise and eyebrow and keep a wide berth. ......................... except, he has a long history of accidentally picking up high maintenance friends, so. in his defence, they're always boys and i think it's just because he's a big gay with unfortunate taste??? but maybe????? not?????? so we'll see, i guess!!!!

I think Liberty's safe, since... Ophelia is really worried about sounding smart, and if Liberty catches her being wrong she'll know she's super dumb. She's probably a little intimidated by how brainy Liberty is and mildly jealous, but that's typical for her.

Fern's got the right idea. Fern might have to put up with Ophelia rolling her eyes hard at Heathcliff who's NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER btw.

Yeah, we can definitely say they've had a fling! I'm sure she'll still flirt with him from time to time.

London is a lovely girl!!!!

So Solo would’ve been beyond kind to her before she went to Hogwarts, and I don’t think that would’ve changed now that she’s back, that’s kinda just who Solo is.

Eve was in her class and year while she was at Hogwarts, so they would’ve shared classes and a dormitory and lunch table. Now that they’re both at Gooseberry, they still share classes and they’re both in occlumency. Eve got along with Gryffindor better than other houses so she probably would’ve treated Ophelia just fine unless Ophelia gave her a reason to dislike her, such as making fun of her family’s preference for gambling or her accent. However, if Ophelia hadn’t, Eve would’ve been down to try camping in the forbidden forest tbh

Nah, Ophelia's not really a mean girl, per se, and isn't much for mocking people. Well, not girls anyway. She might mock boys. She was Popular at Hogwarts, and... wants to be popular at Gooseberry too but we'll see how she unfolds. But yeah Eve could totally have been one of the Gryffindors who snuck out with her to explore the Forbidden Forest. I imagine they got in a ton of trouble for that.

Lachlan came to Gooseberry the year she left so they probably don't know each other especially well but that's okay because she's probably A Bit Much for him. He'll see her when they play soccer and stuff, though~

Heathcliff likes mean girls (to an extent) and sporty girls and can be a Big Emotions person too, so...they might get along but periodically have issues? Fern's his first girlfriend but he would've been up for flings and stuff freshman year if we want to give them some history there?

Balthazar thinks she's very entertaining. Oh, this girl. He's glad she's back. They're in D&F and Choir together and I hope she shows him up in both. He's available for flirting and flings~

Ophelia definitely looks up to Casper and wants to talk shop with him a lot. They probably exasperate one another plenty, though, and Casper might have made her angry cry before. NO HARD FEELINGS, THOUGH. She's just ~sensitive~.

She will happily bully Cole. Expect a lot of STICK UP FOR YOURSELF, GEEZE. DON'T YOU HAVE AN OPINION???? But she likes him I swear.

Yeah that sounds about right :o If she's friends with Fern she goes through phases where she thinks Fern could do better than some big dumb guy, but.... Ophelia's just immature. I think she'll actually enjoy getting to roughhouse and talk to someone else emotional.

Nia is the best bear mom and Ophelia has stars in her eyes whenever they talk. She's not sure if she should be jealous of Addy or Nia with this recent matchup. Regardless, Ophelia's prone to some hero worship and probably thinks Nia's word is the word of god.

I'd love a weird future auror club friendship!!! She's definitely intense, but maybe some of their mutual friends can stop her from going to hard on Lucas. She definitely calls him weird all the time and a gross boy who needs to toughen up, because she loves him.

YES PLEASE I want to hog Todd forever. She's......... going to be bad for him. As a freshman, she was a dorky tomboy with a bad haircut who had meltdowns all the time which made it hard to be her friend. She probably had some megafeelings for Todd but uh she was and is not a good girlfriend.

-Juniper here has FENCING and thats it but Junie thinks that is plenty. I'm not sure that Junie tolerates her mood swings very well at all, sorry! She probably groans every time they are matched up in D&F, and there's a peverse side of Junie that tries extra hard to beat Ophelia during matches just to see her melt down.

-Teddy: he's her Housemate and he's in her year! To a degree, Teddy looks out for the girl junior bears but I suspect he doesn't like Ophelia's influence on Issy at all, but he is forgiving. She can be mean to him all day long and he just takes it with as indulgent look, so...

-Gwen: I don't think they have any overlap? As Equestrian prez, Gwen probably tries to coordinate with her about OE stuff though, since they tend to do things together.

Yeah, true! Ophelia is VERY enthusiastic about her new position so she'll be excited to work with Gwen. Gwen will mostly have to work with Ophelia's professional organized side, which is a lot nicer.

That's a very fitting reaction. Ophelia seems to like most of his roommates too, so I imagine she likes him too. She's probably I GET IT YOU'RE SOOOOOO COOL AND ALOOF but she's very annoying.

They both love OE and have a competitive streak (though they manifest in different ways). As long as they don't butt heads over something stupid, I could really see Ophelia as someone Lilika goes to for girly advice and stomps around school with.

Isabelle is obviously the most connected, being cabin-mates at all. I'm still trying to figure out how she is with the jr girls now, given the like full fledged turnover aside from Ari, who we know has a rather... contentious relationship with Isabelle. They actually don't know each other at all from before - Issy wasn't here freshman year, and Ophelia was gone Sophomore year, so this is their first year together. I think she would have been really apprehensive at first - but depending on whether or not Ophelia was open to a friendship with Issy she'd be either very kind, or very distant. Sort of up to you, there. She doesn't mind strong personalities as a rule or in general, but she is not super receptive to criticism about herself re: appearances. They're also in drama, choir, and D&F together.

Samantha is also a huge flirt (not now, but in Freshman year she would have been) and likes people who are like Ophelia. She'd have had no problem with her, and probably would have hit on her from time to time before she got with Solo. They're also in D&F together, so there's that!

Avery is in OE and likes her sportiness and enthusiasm, and is super sporty herself so any kind of sports she wants to play, Avery was down to play too!

Oscar is way less relevant but will always be nice and goofy.

Dia doesn't have a whole lot of cross-over either but she is SUPER LOUD and TALKATIVE and CHEERY so she's probably very annoying whenever they cross paths.

Ophelia doesn't enjoy arguments she's not in, and while she's not a conventional peacekeeper, when Ari and Issy are at it she's probably like OH MY GODDDDD STOP BEING STUPID and tries to shut it down. I think she'll probably accidentally push Issy around sometimes just because of what they're like, but typically Ophelia's very friendly. Just, you know, a lot.

Ophelia likes to complain about peoples' boyfriends so she's probably whined a little about Solo. But it's toothless, and she's actually fine with Solo as a person.

god, charlotte's gonna love her. she loves mean girls. they have some classes and clubs together and i'm 100% sure charlotte tries to show off her strength and skill in OE to impress ophelia now that she's come back looking way hotter this year.

noel was a fellow gryffindor! he could've been one of the ones who thought it was a GREAT idea to go camping in the forbidden forest with her. he also could've potentially been the boyfriend of the hogwarts girl ophelia had a meltdown over, if you want? he had a girlfriend he shared a mutual obsession with last year but they broke up a bit before the GB vs HW game.

anddd ennis is technically in OE and he used to split his time evenly between LARP and OE, but he's started to favor LARP much more now. he joined OE to help get into shape (and also for the camping trips) and he's improved, but he's still a weenie. he's really anxious about being forced to run the EC obstacle course and hopes that ophelia won't notice if he doesn't participate.

Ophelia's going to love her too, and loooooooves attention from Charlotte. Her meanness isn't nearly as deft as Charlotte, but if Charlie needs someone to be needlessly judgey with her, Ophelia's her girl.

Excellent, what stupid children. AND YES, that would be great. I named her Silvia Bickering, and she was a Gryffindor too. Ophelia's probably over it but at the time was waaaaay upset that Silvia "chose" Noel over her. So.... fun drama to come when they go to Hogwarts. :')

Ennis is just the kind of boy Ophelia loves to yell at. Affectionately, of course.

Hey! So, Webster is in OE and Boating too and I think that's probably their main overlap. He's particularly into OE and I think is pretty down with Ophelia and her leadership. I've found he gravitates towards larger personalities, so as long as she isn't mean, Webster will find her emotions and excitement a lot of fun. Plus, it seems like Lilika is a fan of hers so he's naturally predisposed to like her.

Webster is 100% a sweet boy, and although he's becoming increasingly comfortable here, he's still kind of sometimes a bit of a meek guy... [...] Also, Ophelia is joining just as Webster is starting to work on his flirting, so.
