Hey, it's Mel here with my third (thanks, junkies): Thaddeus "Teddy" Butterfield! Yes, I made a bear with the nickname of Teddy. I don't know how any of you thought I would avoid that. Shame.

Teddy's my junior Ebonhide, my little curse-breaking Pureblood, very laid back guy. He's broad chested and tall and plays zero sports, so feel free to mock him incessantly for that. Like a drunk Inigo, he will not be moved! He's from Boston, and has a heavy accent (I always end up making one of my characters from here), and has the best goddamn hair around. He has probably kissed all of you ladies at some point, just because he's nice like that and doesn't see any problems with it if he's asked. Overall, he's my at-peace-with-himself, hard working guy. COME AT ME WITH YOUR LINES. I need them.

Okay, this time with more relevance.

Liberty is probably my most relevant, as a fellow junior bear. Because there's a lot of tension in the girls' cabin, I imagine that she spends a lot of time with the boys. They're both pretty chill, but he might not be into her tendency to ramble for ever?

Fern is also a junior and overlaps him with classes and electives. She's probably cool with him and and probably kissed him on more than one occasion at parties before she was off the market.

Cameron is a fellow Ebonhide, and a musician, and he acts like everyone is an old friend, whether or not they are.

London doesn't have much overlap with him, but she does like kissing boys at every opportunity. ;*

Chloe is the art TA, and even if he doesn't think he has any natural skill at it, she'd be happy to teach him whatever or talk to him about it.

HI I HAVE A TERRIBLE MEMORY Mel is playing Teddy, Anya is going to app Max, and that convo was with Anya. WHOOOOPS. But if you want more Calvin he......... exists.........

Spencer's also in his yeah. He's friendly and messy and waaaay too confident for his own good. He'll happily joke around with Teddy, whether or not Teddy strictly wants to. Sorry if he accidentally leads him into trouble one day.

Archie is a year below Teddy, and also a pureblood, although... a rather more reclusive one. If Teddy cares about blood politics, he might have heard some rumors that Archie's dad is a brilliant potioneer who doesn't participate in polite society anymore.

Kenzie's a senior prefect who might have smooched Teddy back in her pre-boyfriend days last year.

And Reid does an impressive imitation of a cardboard cutout.

Ira is in his year. He also dresses like he listens to vinyl and likes arguing and Causes and would probably find him quite respectable. They should talk and trade beanies. Ira's hair will never be that great.

Jade here is in Occlumency with him, so he gets treated to all of her trying to suppress her emotions and an Actual Studious Jade as well as her normal I'm Going to Marry the Seven Apocalypse Horsemen Aren't I Goth Jade. She's ALSO a pureblood but her family is Canadian and Guatemalan. It's possible their parents went to the same parties when Jade's deigned to be in the states. Jade thinks curse-breaking is cool and is realizing that she might want to be a hitwitch actress (?? Not a thing, Jade!) and will probably want to pick his brain some.

Tuesday is a year younger than him but in Ebonhide. She's super intimidated by anyone older than her and also a jock so I'm not sure they'll have tooons of overlap. She wants to cut his hair off to see if he Samsons though.

Addy is the Potions TA so if he needs some help in THAT class, she is around for it. She's...here to talk at I guess.

Most notable is obviously Solomon, who is his housemate. Solomon has treated him with nothing but respect and kindness. And I feel like they have a lot of personality traits that line up and should be good friends.

Eve is also in his year, some of his classes and occlumency. She also has a strong accent that’s very distinguished and will love his accent. He’s way more calm than she is but she tries to go with the flow of most shit and has gotten more laid back and uninvolved the longer she’s been here.

And Quentin is a sophomore and more of a pest than anything.

Casper is in the same house and is probably fine with Teddy as long as his inclination toward problem-solving includes less bad decisions than some of the other juniors. No more seances, you assholes. They're also in boating together and are, apparently, in a hair competition he is unaware of/unconcerned with. Balthazar is also in the same house. I imagine they got along well enough, though Balthazar tends to prefer people he can spin up a little or people that will take him on absurd bad-idea adventures, so he probably won't bother Teddy too much.

Cole might be of some interest since Teddy likes art (but can't do it) and Cole lives and breathes art? Regardless, Cole thinks he's Very Nice and is probably a little curious about Felicia these days. Can he draw your spider, Teddy?? Heathcliff is friendly and outgoing and generally gets along with people, so he's good with Teddy too! Depending on how into Archery he is, he may try to drag him into doing trick shots with him~ He doesn't get why you don't play sports, dude!

Lachlan...doesn't really matter? Yep. He thinks your hair is very nice, Teddy.

Teddy is pretty unaware of the hair competition too, don't worry. And he thinks seances are a Bad Idea. So don't worry, he won't cause any trouble! For Balthazar....yea, sorry, it's pretty hard to get Teddy going on anything.

Cole, if you ask to draw Felicia, Teddy will think you are obviously a person of great insight and goodness because Felicia is THE BEST and he loves her (I have one too, although not named Fel, and they are adorbs). And Teddy will do any manner of trick shots, although he's not real competitive. Just ask nicely. And sports? ehhhhhhh.

Todd is an easily peer-pressured, pathologically lazy, no chill Coppertale muggleborn and I think they need to have an odd couple friendship because of it.

Ari's in his house and year! This is all contingent on how Teddy would feel about her (specifically last year, because she was much pricklier), but she was kind of an ass kisser to pureblood students last year because that is how she was brought up. Her family has a bad rap because... they were Death Eaters... so between that and her being a piece of work I can see them not getting along, but if he gave her the time of day she might've tried to briefly romantically attach herself to him.

Clem doesn't know who non-quidditch players are. Reece is a nice boy. Also he's for sure on Tally's Potential True Love hitlist and I'm sorry about her

Teddy can be a little sensitive about the Death Eater angle because it bothers his mother so much. He might have steered clear of Ari and I expect there is some tension there (but he feels bad). Maybe he eventually softened because he knows what it is like to try and stay away from that side of the fam?

lmao my first instinct is that wilde has a semi-irrational dislike for teddy, mostly because you described him as cursebreaking, which is what his brother does (there's jealousy there & wilde's also considering it as a career). pair that w being tall and having good hair and not being totally ravaged inside by various angst, and i'm sure wilde is vaguely jealous of him too in the same kinda flavor. so. that's fun. could be interesting since teddy's also in gardening ;=; ah

madison is a pureblood from boston!!! :u i would love if they knew of eachother from back home or were even family friends somehow. her family kind of has some shady roots when it comes to family pastimes and origin, but they're also Notable and on the scene.

Hey, roomie! We're just going to dump my Medium Bear Prefect here (the other two exist, but are way less important in this situation) for Teddy. In ... contrast? We're going with contrast. Bash here is a midgety, anxious, half-blood who has not kissed even a small minority of the ladies (because, ew) and often looks like he stuck a finger in an electric socket hair-wise - but I'm sure he's fond of Teddy anyway!

Also, the two of them having a conversation is probably horrific to witness and sounds like the most heavily accented shit in the world, wow. Because Bash sounds like he fell off of the terrible New York grammar ladder and hit every rung on the way down.

zach is an azurcrest junior and...... a fellow non-athelete? idk, he's friendly and a prefect and he and liberty are library buds, so chances are he and teddy have come into contact a couple of times. zach can get very exuberant abt his passion projects, esp when he's bouncing off liberty, so he may have also told him to shhh @ some point, lol.

cash was probably voted least likely to own a yoga mat, but if he hangs with ira and spencer and todd, he's definitely bumped up against cash, too. he'd respect teddy's determination, even if they have very different personalities. poetry??? hard pass, lmfao.

anddddd ulysses is in his house and a fellow pureblood; maybe their families have interacted at some point? idk. also, if teddy had a short lived stint on the quid team, that means they flew together!

PLAYING CATCH UP on all these intros HI

Lucas is my most relevant! Fellow junior. Not only do they have a lot of class overlap, but Lucas bums around the medium bear boys cabin a lot because of Bash, so Teddy and Lucas probably see each other around a lot. Lucas is also a no sports boy, though he's working on getting into A Shape now that he wants to become an auror. He's also a muggleborn who is avoidant of/weirded out by the concept of blood purity and is easily wound up by things like the statute of secrecy. We'll see how they get on!

Nia's a year above Teddy and head girl/vodka aunt. She makes it her business to know at least a little bit about everyone.

My others aren't terribly relevant I don't think!!
