ACTIVITY CHECK

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! Because it's December, which is always a very busy time, everyone only needs to present one piece of activity per character this month. (Characters who are accepted after this point are exempt from AC.)

Select one piece of primary or secondary activity to pass AC! We don't care which, as long as it's up to snuff. However, if you're qualifying for a 4th or 5th character, you're still required to provide 2/3 pieces according to normal AC requirements:

The following primary activity counts:

First person journal posts

Third person logs/scenes (open scene or minimum 3 posts by your character)

A public IC/OOC post created by your character

Two IC/OOC scenes also count for the equivalent of one primary activity.

Your character can also use one of the following for activity, but only if they were accepted before December 15. (If you are seeking the OK for a fifth, you can use two.)

A note, gift or letter/owl sent by your character, including anything posted to the gift-giving master post

A comment thread with at least 6 comments by your character, not posted on your character's own journal post. It must be a single link, but branching threads count. This means, if you go to the bottom of a comment and copy the Thread link (e.g. ), and we are able to count 6 of your character's comments from your link, it counts.

A mostly prose scene in an IC/OOC post with a minimum of 3 comments by your character. Mods reserve the right to decide if your scene doesn't count as "mostly prose" or isn't developed enough to qualify. Two IC/OOC scenes also count for the equivalent of one primary activity, i.e. you can submit three IC/OOC scenes to pass.

Only activity posted from December 1–31 qualifies for AC.

Other notes and rules

You have until Sunday, December 31 at 11:59 PM MT to get this month's activity in, i.e. any posts from now until January 1 counts for activity. If you are unable to meet activity requirements, please check in anyway and we will grant your character(s) a strike. Provided it is not your third strike, you will be allowed to keep all your character(s) for another month. Anyone who has not checked in for AC will be cut from the cast on January 1.

Reply to this comment with this month's activity if you want approval for a 3rd, 4th or 5th character.

To qualify for a 3rd or 4th character, you must pass AC with all of your current characters, and not be on hiatus. Once you've gotten the OK from the mod account (i.e. we've acknowledged your AC comment), you may put in a hold.

To qualify for a 5th character, you must provide a) three pieces of activity per character, and b) you may not have a single strike on your activity with any of your four characters for three months straight. Once you've gotten the OK for AC and your petition has been approved, you may put in a hold for a 5th.
