Calvin is Sour Outside, Sad inside, but don't try to point that out. He's cranky even when it's completely uncalled for, which is an upgrade from what he used to be. When he came to Gooseberry, he had plenty of Break The Haughty experiences, and has been inching his way along a Jerk to Nice Guy Plot. He's been Stuffed Into A Locker before, and has had a few Cornered Rattlesnake moments.

He Hates Being Touched, and with boys he likes he's a bit of a Tsundere. Maybe because of his Paralyzing Fear of Sexuality. He talks big because of an Inferiority-Superiority Complex, but honestly he's a Nervous Wreck a lot of the time. Are you a good looking well-adjusted intelligent boy he doesn't talk to? Well he probably resents you a little.

I guess I should say some nicer things about him. Uh, he's a Classical Anti-Hero and an Unscrupulous Hero, plus he's smart for his age. He's a Sarcastic Devotee to the 40 best friends. Between duelling and his growth spurt, he's a Badass Bookworm. He's often Cole's Cloudcuckoolander's Minder. Damon's wild and adventurous, Calvin's serious and cautious, so they've got some Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling going on.
