I'm sorta back?

Hi everyone,

You might have noticed I haven't been around the last couple of weeks. I emailed the mods to let them know I was taking a hiatus due to some pretty shitty RL stuff going on (I co-ordinate special needs provision at my school and have nearly blown a gasket several times this month alone due to to horribly uninclusive attitudes among my colleagues), and things exploding at another game where I ended up quitting due to another player making me physically ill, and the mod sided with her. In short, things haven't been pretty, so I needed to take a break for a while. Thanks to everyone for being understanding - and if there is anything my kiddos have missed that they would know about, I would hugely appreciate the heads up. I'll be starting to pick things up again this weekend. <3

Yeah, the sleep thing wasn't happening for a while, but fortunately some of the sane colleagues took one look at me while I was tidying my classroom Friday before last (when it had all kicked off the night before, and I ended up spending two hours at 2am consoling my friend who had just found out her mum's cancer is terminal) and told me to fuck off home. I haven't done anything work related the last two weekends and that has really helped me feel more like myself, so now I'm just trying to not dwell on the previous game.

Still, I remembered Dom's birthday (today!!!) so that makes a change XD

I'll get over it, but anxiety disorder is a bitch so I kind of have to plan for down time as much as the actual stuff I need to do, which is a bit pants.
