So, here I am wanting to sleep in because it's the weekend. At 7:30 ish, I get woken up by some kind of high pitched squealing noise that sounds like an alarm. Immediately I panic, wondering what the hell it is and is it coming from our house? Get up, check the house with Zoe. Seems ok. Open a window, sounds louder now. Neighbors? Still hear the noise, worry, think "I should call 911. That's an alarm, still going off, I hope my neighbors are okay." So I call and tell them I'm hearing some kind of alarm, can't tell what kind from my house. Wait, impressive response time - maybe two minutes, max? Watch as he goes to check the neighbor, stops, stares at the space between our houses, then come towards my door. I immediately open it and hear the REAL noise now - not an alarm. Definitely not an alarm. "Oh crap am I stupid?" I ask the officer. He laughs, and tells me no but it's just my water pressure and dirt probably got into the system and is clogging it. I should call my gardener. Apologize profusely to cop who is really nice (thank goodness!) and helps us figure out what to do with it. Thanks, copper, for being so cool.

Second thought of the morning "hey, at least I'm up and coherent enough for plot post tho!"
