Tylenol severe cold and flu is the only thing keeping me functional this week. Also sleeping for many many hours.

It is kind of a miracle drug.

I may wind up getting my ass on antibiotics since I keep fucking getting sick this summer.

Also agree w all the Hot Toddy prescriptions.

actually i do have the answer: drinking a lot of water, taking a fuckload of non-drowsy cold medicine, and then viciously pretending i'm not ill. you seriously have to commit to that last part or it doesn't work, tho. i'm dead serious.

this sounds like im just being a dbag (which, tbf, i am) but i genuinely believe you can trick your bod into chilling out if you aggressively compartmentalise your Suffering. the more you whine, the more aware you are of it, and the worse you feel!!!!! imho

it's tough tho bc as yall know i DO love complaining :|a

oh my god that SUCKS

here are some things from my arsenal:

- advil cold & sinus or sudafed or dayquil or whatever your non-drowsy jam is
- zinc tablets all the time
- lots of water and vitamin c (emergen-c is amaaaazing)
- nap city
- before bed: 2 strong hot toddies then nyquil (ymmv since you're technically not supposed to take nyquil after booze, but i'm pretty sure that's only because nyquil also has some alcohol?)

hot toddies should include: whiskey, boiling water, honey, lemon, and cloves

I think part of it is that NyQuil has paracetamol in it yeah? Aka more liver murder central

i just learned that it's the same thing as acetaminophen (thanks wikipedia!) and i've heard both, but acetaminophen only when it's in a pain-killing context. :|a

The actual NyQuil rule AS I REMEMBER is not to use if drinking 3 drinks a day or more so clearly they mean 2 is JUST FINE!!
Please no one think I am science but also I've taken a lot of NyQuil this year and am still alive so maybe I am
