I have a follow-up interview on Thursday for a position as a cadastral technician and I'm FREAKING OUT A LITTLE. This hopefully means I'll be employed again soon, but if it goes well there will be a sharp decline in my activity and availability as a mod as early as next week as I adjust to the new job. If that happens, Marin and I will keep you all posted.

I still plan on having Calvin's Quidditch event happen Thurs, but idk when it'll go up.

Another quick notice: Meggie prooooobably got that job, and she says thank you in advance for any congratulations! As a result, IC/OOCs and the Plot Calendar are likely going to go up even earlier, around 7:00 or 7:30. Sorry about the inconvenience. :( Other changes may be necessary in the wake of these changes, but we'll keep you all informed once we know what's going on.

I know I don't even go here but just an apology for not being around much - buuuuuuut it's looking like there's a possibility I might not be around for longer because HURRICANE NATE IS HEADING RIGHT THE EFF TO NEW ORLEANS

they're imposing a citywide curfew tomorrow night so our restaurant is closed and our chef isn't expecting anything dire to happen and seems to assume we'll be open for action on Sunday but of course hurricanes are unpredictable af and that could change and who really knows what's happening 24 hours from now

So there's a chance I'll be out of power for a week or so or I'll be around anyways, don't really know, just checking in, heads up etc.

Interview Help!

Soooo I have a job interview for season two of American Vandal tomorrow. Soooo that means I'll be watching all of season one of American Vandal on my flight tonight.

I know I'll be asked at my interview if there are documentary tropes and devices that were not used in season one that I'd like to see in season two. And, if there are aspects of high school that were not covered in season one that I'd like to see covered in season two.

That is... very general. I have it on good authority that everyone here is REALLY into documentaries and obviously high school. Thought I might try to crowd source these questions. Thank you for any help!

• I start my new job Tuesday! While I'm training and all that, my activity will decline quiiiite a bit. I hope it'll improve again once I'm in the swing of things and have stopped constantly worrying that I'll be fired for fucking off. Keep your eyes open for updates on how this will impact me as a mod and a player. If anyone desperately needs the attention of one of my characters, I kindly suggest you do so tomorrow orrrr next weekend!


• Marin is, as always, working very hard on the Quidditch post, which will be making an appearance soon.
