Hello! My name is Sunny and it has been a really long time since I’ve been in an RP. Also my first time on Dreamwidth, so yay! I live in Southern California and most of my time is split between two jobs: baking/delivering cupcakes and running a small non-profit theatre company that produces contemporary musical theatre (this season we’re doing The Rocky Horror Show and American Idiot). Sometimes I also write TV recaps for the local paper.

So… that’s me! This is Victoria Powers.

CLASSES: Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Hermeticism, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration, Wizard Literature.
ADVANCED STUDY: Occlumency.

EXTRACURRICULARS: Duelling and Fencing, Gaming.

THREE THINGS YOU WOULD KNOW ABOUT VICTORIA:
1. She’s Veronica’s sister and they’re as close as… well, sisters.
2. She’s about as dry as plain toast with some snarky sarcasm thrown in for good measure. Upon first impression, she can come across as cold and smarter-than-thou.
3. She’s your prefect, Coppertale juniors.

THREE THINGS YOU MIGHT KNOW ABOUT VICTORIA:
1. She’s usually running the trails before breakfast.
2. If you’re looking for her later in the day, try the library.
3. Victoria may or may not have taken a few low-key Quidditch bets as a side hustle back when she was a tiny little freshman. But she definitely isn’t still doing that, because she’s a prefect now. And that would be bad. Right.

THREE THINGS YOU WOULDN’T KNOW ABOUT VICTORIA:
1. She’s still a little unnerved by the whole kidnapping situation last year, partly because she’s really awful at dealing with “the feels” and has 100% refused to talk about it.
2. Making friends hasn’t been the easiest thing for Victoria. She’s very independent (or sometimes heavily dependent on her sister) and letting new people get close to her comes with the fear that eventually, they’re going to let her down in some way. Or she’ll let them down in some way. She’s surprisingly sensitive underneath all the attitude. But when it comes to the friends she’s made at Gooseberry who have managed to sneak past those protective metaphorical walls, she’s as loyal as hell.
3. She thinks Mr. Elmasry is wildly attractive, probably the only reason she hasn’t dropped Potions.

As for lines, whatever you've got! I’d love for her to have at least one or two close friends her age, ideally people who would appreciate some dry humor. Or at least wouldn’t be upset by it. Friendly acquaintances are great, too. People she’s scared off in the past or managed to irritate or upset. She hasn’t had any past romantic relationships and while I’m not opposed to the possibility, she isn’t really looking for one… but she might be up for a super casual, "friends with benefits" arrangement that could be developed in game. People for her to compete with. Sporty types she’d find outside while running. People who have history with her sister. Anything else you can think of... seriously, just let me know. Very excited to write with all of you!

Hello hello! Welcome to the game! I'm Jenny. I was in a game once eons ago with a Sunny (it was Betwixt and I played Royden Poke), IDK if you are that same person, but, if so, neat! Looking forward to playing with you :] Here's a rundown of my junk:

Lucas Kowalski (

bubblewrapped), Azurcrest junior and Charms TA. He is, by a wide margin, the most relevant to Victoria. Lucas is a dryly sarcastic introvert and morbid worrywart preoccupied with death and disaster. He is ... kind of a huge dork and may not actually be cool enough to be friends with Victoria, though, but that won't stop him from chit-chatting with her on the journals. They also have a fair bit of class overlap and are in clubs together, so he'll see her around. :]

Antonia Papadakis (

heyitsnia), Ebonhide senior and Head Girl. Nia is one of Vee's roommates and is very close with her, so she has probably always watched out for Victoria a little, and would want to guide her as a prefect. She's got a steamroller personality and is more than a little intense, but she'll appreciate the dry sarcasm.

Nisha Lewis (

godzillabutworse), Coppertale sophmore. Nisha is one of my new characters and she is kind of a monster. She is new to Gooseberry this year, having transferred for the quidditch program (and also to learn how to be a functional human like her brother). Victoria may have to prefect at her from time to time.

Yancey Montgomery (

hotdish), Ribbonfin senior. Yancey is my other new character, whose voice I am still working on. He spent last year at Hogwarts and missed all the hubbub. Good-natured artist and hero wannabe. They are in Dueling and Fencing together!

I think she'll get a kick out of Lucas and be her version of friendly.

If Nia is good with Vee, she's good with Victoria.

Hi Sunny! Welcome to the game!!! I'm Meggie, one of the mods, and we're really happy to have you and Victoria here! I have five characters, sooo this is going to get long. SORRY IN ADVANCE.

Spencer Sweet (

bitterlysweet, junior Coppertale, cheerleader) is the most relevant to Victoria! He's in her year/house, and he's very loud and friendly. Spencer's gregarious, but a little overbearing/intense and known for being a bit of a rulebreaker. He's an aspiring professional figure skater, and has a nearly eidetic memory. He'll be friendly towards Victoria with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

Calvin Evercreech (

evercreep, junior Ribbonfin, Beater) is also in Victoria's year, and they have a similar disposition. Calvin's veeeeery dry and abrasive, as well as highly academically motivated. He's an exchange student from Hogwarts, and is a (mostly) reformed Slytherin bully. They might get along, orrr they might irritate one another!

Reid Wainwright (

cygninae, senior Coppertale, Seeker, prefect) is her senior prefect! Reid's a stilted ice prince who's known for being pretty taciturn and unfriendly, but really he's just... very awkward and shy. He was made prefect this year when the previous prefect (Dominic) stepped down. It was really a situation where no one else in that cabin could do it. Reid's going to try very hard to be good. He's not great at talking, but he's got thick skin and Victoria's attitude won't bother him.

Mackenzie Prince (

princeprincess, senior Azurcrest, prefect) is the de facto Queen Bee of Gooseberry. Part mean girl, part class clown, and part wannabe femme fatale. She's poised, composed and steely, but has a mean sense of humor and not a lot of compassion. She's kinda friends with Vee, so she'll know Victoria through her sister.

Archimedes Rose (

cherubic, sophomore Ebonhide, Quidditch reserve) is probably not going to be a problem for Victoria. He's a soft spoken, eccentric mad scientist who infamously drugged the upperclassmen with Amortentia last year. He has a tendency to stalk his crushes, and is overall just a bit... odd.

Ha! I imagine Victoria was a little O_O at first, but after two years in Coppertale she's probably gotten used to loud personalities. She's also crazy jealous of his memory skills.

With Calvin, maybe sometimes friendly and sometimes less-than-friendly? We can see how they interact in game.

If nothing else, she'll know of Reid as the new senior prefect for Coppertale. Plus I'm sure she's seen him play at Quidditch matches. She'll probably be cool with him.

If Vee's friends with her, Victoria will be civil at the very least. I don't know that they'll interact a ton, but it seems like Victoria might be torn between thinking she's funny and then disliking her when that humor crosses the line and turns cruel.

Yeah, she might not interact with him often, but he sounds awesomely odd.

phineas bones, this journal, is a coppertale senior and transfer from hogwarts (hufflepuff). he's related to those boneses. bit of an oddball tinkerer, lots of restless energy. i'm still kinda figuring out his voice at the moment buuuut victoria would def run into him running around in the morning & he would def appreciate her sense of humor i think. c: he's friendly enough and kinda trying to figure out this place, so!

destructobot, ebonhide senior. president of gardening club/an herbology geek, skateboards around a lot, keeper on the house team. he was once v prickly but is less of a jerk lately & has a soft secret feely core. he's in vee's class, so probably knows who victoria is? i can offer him as someone she may have irritated in the past, because that wouldn't have been difficult tbh

That could work, but I'm not sure where they'd interact - she could have been hanging around the Gardens when she wasn't supposed to or something, during a club? If told to leave she probably would have been pretty snippy and irritating. Or if he was skateboarding near the walking paths, she might have told him to watch it. Or she's fine with just thinking of him as that sort of cranky Ebonhide guy.

HI SUNNY! This is Lyss, and I already said hi I guess but aaah it is so good to see you again! This is such a good game, I love it. I have four here sooo here i go.

This one has the MOST overlap. She is Jade Otterwell, and is a fellow Junior, and is in Azurcrest. They have quite a big class/club overlap, and are so far the only 2 people in Jr Occlumency so that's exciting. Jade's an actress who likes morbid jokes, and dips into mean girl territory when it works for her. She can hang with dry humor, but generally finds habitual lying to be more fun. She would probably like Victoria if she tolerated her back.

Ferdinand Ayers at

ferdie is a Senior Ribbonfin and Head Boy. Sooo he'll have a good deal of contact with Victoria as a Prefect. His mom is a notorious reporter, having stolen MACUSA secrets years ago and brought Ferdie up in sheltered fear ever since. He's breaking away very quietly now. He likes sarcasm a lot and he's available for questions or guidance etc etc as she needs!

Adeline Foster-Hayes at

addytives is your resident Potions TA, and an Azurcrest Junior. Addy's something of a former trainwreck who's turning around a lot in the eleventh hour, actually a great deal thanks to Mr. Elmasry. (Who she does not have a crush on; rest assured, Victoria.) She's something of a savant when it comes to potions, and has a small business selling useful potions that she's going to take to the next level when she graduates. She's a very warm, unrelentingly kind person, but definitely still discovering self-worth at all. She likes Vee a lot so she'll be good to Victoria, and if she ever wants Potions tutoring, she's game!

LASTLY, there's my new one Tuesday North

tues. Tuesday's an Ebonhide Sophomore. She's a rodeo flier who is the new Seeker on the Quidditch team and used to live next to a garbage dump illusion. That should tell you enough about Tuesday. She acts a lot cooler than she is, and Victoria may very well have to yell at her at some juncture due to five too many daredevil feats. I"m sorry.

I'm not sure yet how Victoria will take to Jade. She may be amused by her antics, or she may just think she's too much. They should have plenty of space to interact (yay) so we can figure it out from there.

HA! Victoria maintains that she just thinks he's a good teacher and all around decent guy, but yes. She does well in Potions but has to work hard for it, so she may have questions for Adeline now and again.

That's an amazing concept, I love it. Victoria is fine to jump in and be prefecty, although she'll be more concerned if those daredevil feats affect others - if you want to break your neck, fine, but don't take those other poor unsuspecting souls out with you.

professionalcorpse) is probably the most relevant. He's a Junior over in Ebonhide. Bash is a loud, distractable disaster of a person - but he's a friendly disaster. They have a few classes together and he's also a prefect! So.

Roxanne Barringer (

uponawire) is a Senior over in Victoria's house. She was raised in what pretty much equates to Magic Traveling Circus and walks tightrope. She's relatively quiet, but she would appreciate Victoria's sense of humor.

Antigone Brown (

nightandday) is the new baby, so we're still figuring her out. She's a Sophomore in Ribbonfin.

Yo, fellow prefect! It sounds like they'll run into each other on occasion. She's sometimes not sure how to process those wild, high-energy types (it's exhausting just watching them!) but she'd probably be cool with Bash in class and during prefecty chats.

I don't know if her history would ever come up, but I feel like Victoria would think that's incredibly cool. Plus they're both from Arizona, although Victoria's done a LOT less traveling.

We can see if they end up interacting in game. Definitely still figuring Victoria out, too.

sunsoutgunsout) is a senior in her house. he's a bro, reformed bully, meathead, and dumbass rolled into a vain and promiscuous dance machine. he's in both her extracurriculars (although in gaming all he does is run d&d). people often find him both exasperating and exhausting, so ymmv depending on how they get along. :3 he's basically like a dog that's trying hard to be good but doesn't really know how to do it? it's easy to work him up.

paige ripley (

jumpcut) is an azurcrest in her year, and is a new student! she's too curious, has little idea of what an invasive question is, and treats everybody like her best friend. she's pretty naïve. she's a baby seer who divines using fish entrails :| they have a whole THREE classes together, wowza. victoria's going to be asked an incessant number of questions about an unbelievable number of things. BUCKLE IN, GIRL!

kurt wolfhart (

puphart) is a senior ribbonfin and a fellow prefect. last year he had a self-improvement project (NEW KURT™) where he began as a shy and timid dude with a stutter and ended a slightly more confident dude with a stutter and one (1) detention under his belt. he's crazy about animals of all types and is here for the drama program. while he's been pretty non-confrontational in the past, if her snark meters seem particularly high he might try to Step Up and ask her to cool it off. quietly.

corrigan bailey (this journal!) is a sophomore in ebonhide and her only connections with victoria are extracurriculars. she was a ~child star~ pre-gooseberry in a nickelodeon-style TV show with her sisters where they played a band. gb is her way of staking out her own identity and pursuing her passion (her parents think it's music, she KNOWS it's quidditch.) she sings and plays the acoustic guitar and harmonica. she's sassy and feels like she has a lot to prove.

I don't know that Victoria would have much in common with Corrigan outside of those extracurriculars, but that's cool. Victoria probably recognized her from TV when she started at Gooseberry, but she'd wouldn't have brought it up.

My most relevant is Fern Mufferaw

nothalfplaid, her room mate! They have a lot in common, so they'll probably get along great, unless they hate each other. She's the daughter of the school healer, and she's a lot like him (but never tell her that). She's surly and sarcastic and strikes some people as mean or at least a little cold, though she tends to get long best with other people who roll with her banter and don't take her too seriously. She doesn't like to talk about ~feelings~ and tries to keep people at enough of a distance that they can't let her down. But she also tends to be angry and rebellious and not a big fan of following rules, and the harder someone pushes the more she balks. She can make reasonable concessions, though. Drinking being allowed in the cabin but setting fire to things is not seems reasonable to her.

Cameron Carney

gonnabefamous, Ebonhide senior, is also relevant, as he's close pals with Vee. He's very outgoing and friendly, and tends to talk to everyone like they're old pals (even if he can't remember their names). So, outwardly, he seems more of an Azurcrest than an Ebonhide, and he's a staple at all the parties. He's big into music, and spends a ton of time in the music room, because he wants to grow up to be a famous musician like his mother, who's a famous wizarding country star.

Chloe Shepherd

cmdrchloe, Ribbonfin senior. Chloe is friendly and kind, but kind of awkward, and terrified of conflict. She's a muggleborn and a huge geek; sci-fi is her go to genre.

London Holloway

beansontoast, Azurcrest sophomore. London is very personable, friendly, and so very talkative. She also loves to gossip and stick her nose into other people's relationships. She is an enthusiastic and prolific photographer who wants to be a paparazzi when she grows up, and she practices here at GB by taking juicy pictures of her classmates.

I would love for them to get along great. The whole prefect thing may have been a small hurdle for them if Fern is super anti-authority and rebellious, but Victoria's likely to turn a blind eye to small offenses, so long as no one's getting hurt.

Victoria would be happy to chat music with him, even though she lacks musical talent of her own. She's big on classic rock and even named her pet rat Sir Elton.

She might not know Chloe or London all that well, but I'm sure they'll interact at some point.

Hi I'm Roz, welcome to the game.

I have three. The most relevant is probably Olivia. She's a senior coppertale prefect. She actually made a post here for all the coppertale prefects if you wanna hit that. This year, a lot of prefect badge juggling has gone on so coppertale has a lot of new prefects and Olivia is realizing that she's the oldest prefect for their house, and they don't have the strong prefect voices they did last year, so she's kiiinda overcompensating this year. For background, Olivia was raised in a mixed no-maj/maj household, and raised by a retired boxer. So she's into that shit. But she's also extremely open and understanding and that's how she's decided to prefect. She's not a hell raising enforcer, she wants to be a resilient understanding kind of figure. Which we can retcon this any way you want. They could be familiar with each other last year, Olivia can annoy the shit out of Victoria, I'm pretty much up for anything.

Solomon Webb is my second one and he's a junior ebonhide on the quidditch team. His sn is

theniceboy because he is literally the personification of nice. He's understanding to the point of it being a fatal flaw. He doesn't just believe in second chances, he believes if you give enough chances, people will improve. He was raised in Honduras and his native language is Spanish. He was adopted by an elderly couple, so he's a lot more patient and sometimes mature than other kids their age. He's also in a chunk of Victoria's classes. This kid has a thirst for knowledge and is a walking encyclopedia half the time, and frustratingly literal the other half. But he thinks Victoria is a beautiful human being and has been nothing but painfully nice to her since freshman year.

Then I have Quentin Youngblood at

taxation_is_theft who is the resident conspiracy freak and a bit of an asshole. He's a coppertail sophomore. He was raised on the Youngblood Compound, relatively off the grid. He's in Victoria's extracurriculars and will probably be a continual thorn in her prefect side.

I am up for literally any kind of storyline, or if you wanna see what develops organically.

Just responded to Olivia's post. Victoria's the type to get a little touchy if someone hints that she doesn't know what she's doing, so I could see her taking genuine attempts to be kind and helpful too personally. But that being said, she thinks Olivia's kind of badass.

That's incredibly sweet. Victoria would respect his intelligence, but might not trust extreme kindness 100%. Seeing it in action might result in a slight side eye.

Ha, bring it! If any of his conspiracies are founded in logic and science, she'd be intrigued enough to listen. Otherwise, she'll just roll her eyes.

YAYAYAYAY! I'm super excited, in case you couldn't tell. :) Also, your jobs are SO COOL. I am trying to start a cupcake business too, but it's super hard where I live. But I digress! Onto the intro comments.

Vee obviously loves her sister and is super protective. We talked about them, and I can't wait to see them interact. I forgot to mention that she'd be extra protective after the events of endgame too. SHE WON'T LET YOU BE TAKEN, Vicki!

The other most relevant is Susana Velasquez (

pintsizedsass) Ana is her roommate! I think she'd appreciate Victoria's dry sense of humor, as she can be sarcastic too. She's also not really good with feelings, and is a bundle of sass and charm and energy most of the time. She's BFF's with their other roommate Hazel, so I apologize in advance for how much trouble and shenanigans these two will cause. Ana is obsessed with quidditch, it's her EVERYTHING, and she's super competitive and wants to go pro. She was raised in privilege but her parents kinda...ignored her because she was an oopsie baby so many years later. Quidditch was the first place she felt noticed and felt like she belonged, and it's been her passion ever since. She's finding her voice and being less surly and wary, but the sarcasm and defenses are still there. She's also getting kinda flirty in her older age lol

Milo Greer (

imnotlistening) is another relative one. He's also a Junior and a prefect, but in Ribbonfin. He's very friendly, kinda adorkable, and just generally a typical teenage guy. Most notably, he is completely deaf, so unless Victoria knows or has learned sign language, they might have some issues communicating. Still, he reads lips exceptionally well. He plays the drums, likes video games and comics, and is very relaxed generally. But can get moody and is very rooted in his routines. I don't know 100% how they'll get on, but I think he'll like her!

Lastly is Carolina Foster-Hayes (

opencarefully) She is a Ribbonfin sophomore and Addy's little sister. She is really shy, loves books and can often get lost in her stories. She is in a band with two other sophomores though, which seems weird because she's so timid but she looooooves music. Carolina is trying to be less of a sidekick and more of a main character, but doesn't know how to do that? She generally observes rather than calls attention to herself, and is a very loyal follower. She loves to surf and swim, and swims every day at school, so Victoria might see her out and about on the runs. She's friendly, albeit quiet, but won't have any issue with Victoria.

She's probably cool with Ana (and Hazel) most of the time, but may occasionally be driven a little nuts by the high energy sass and charm (and shenanigans) as well.

I think Milo rates as pretty cool in Victoria's book. She wouldn't know sign language (although if they've gotten to know each other over the years, she'd have made an effort to at least learn a few basic gestures) but she'd make sure to face him when she talks to him.

Oscar Zabinsky (

dumb_ass) is a Senior Azurcrest and has been BFFs with Vee for a while now, and they are currently dating! They started dating last year not long before Summer started, and he (with Jeremy) were the ones to wake Vee from sleep and rescue her. We've said a few times in game that Karen (Oz's little sister) & Victoria are friends and spent a little bit of summer together too, but if you wanna retcon that we totally can since she's not in game! Oz is super nice and spent a lot of summer with them and has spent some other breaks around here and there too so they'd know each other pretty well. He'd probably treat her like a little sister tbh.

Isabelle Sargent (

cant_even) is also a Junior! Class wise they share Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Hermeticism, Potions, and Transfiguration. No clubs, but that's a fair amount of classes. Issy is in Ebonhide and a bit on the quiet/neurotic side. She had a meltdown at her previous school. I think she'd like Victoria - someone more quiet and methodical/logical would appeal to Issy's generally chaos-free nature.

Samantha Sweeney (

oh_girl) is, again, a Junior and in Azurcrest! Class wise they share Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Hermeticism, Potions, and Transfiguration. They are also both in Dueling & Fencing/Gaming. Sam is flightly, happy go lucky, fun, and likes to party. She almost failed out last year and has been known to be "intimidating" but she's not like, a true mean girl. She just doesn't like bullshit or double standards, really. She's a good friend, and this year she's trying to study more and tone herself down a bit. She'd probably find Victoria to be a bit uptight sometimes but wouldn't outright dislike her.

Concordia Knight (

cheer_leader) is a Sophomore Coppertale! They are both in Dueling and Fencing but other then that, they have nothing in common. Concordia is a lot like Vee in the sense that she has endless school spirit. She can be gruff and unlikeable, and can be a bit... not two-faced but hypocritical. She tries really hard though and just wants to have friends/be a good friend. So despite the outward appearance she does her best to be a good person. House solidarity and all, too, she'd try really hard to be a good person and hopefully good friend to Victoria!

Avery Davenport (

un_kept) is my last, but she has no overlap aside from Dueling & Fencing/Gaming club. She's a Senior in Ribbonfin and their Quidditch Captain. She's very friendly and friendly with Vee. She'd be nice, of course. :)

I wouldn't mind retconning that, at least until someone comes in for Karen. Victoria was probably a little standoffish when he first came by this summer, just guarded and very watchful. But she'd have lightened up after awhile, seeing that he's a decent guy and is still treating Vee well.

Victoria could definitely be a voice of reason for Isabelle on the occasion that she needs one.

That works with Samantha. Victoria would probably find Samantha more interesting than intimidating, and would at least know her through their shared classes and clubs.

Sounds good for Concordia and Avery too!

Yeah I figured - it was easy to say that she spent part of the summer with Oz/Vee/Victoria because neither Karen nor Victoria were in play at the time. ALSO, this would not be the first time Victoria has seen Oz over during summer/break but it would be the first time as boyfriend so he'd probably be confused at her being stand-offish if she wasn't like that with him before - but he'd get over it. Oz is the type who has most definitely spent time singing into hairbrushes to top 40s songs really awfully loudly with Vee so xD

Oh good. Yeah, and she's overhauled her personality this year and is Really Trying to Be Good and Do Better etc etc and is reaching out for study help too so since Victoria's a smart cookie there may be some added interaction there.

Riley Stamper (

riledup), Azurcrest senior, cheerleader, dumb, glittery trash who will aggressively flirt with every pretty girl on campus. This is your only warning. Jefferson Key (this journal), Azurcrest junior and Wizard Lit TA! He's generally a naive ball of sunshine and friend to the entire junior class. It is impossible to scare him off, he loves everyone.

Dinah Dixon (

dinahdanger), Coppertale sophomore, and just... a lot. She's a lot. @all Coppertale prefects, I am genuinely sorry for her. She has an overactive imagination, writes her own comic book starring herself, and has definitely turned everyone in this school into a character in this comic book. Victoria's character is probably awesome.

AND Austin McNamara (

soundscaped), Ebonhide junior, all around hipster musician. Don't worry about him, he's in the Music room or playing his acoustic guitar under the Ornery Oak.

Oh my goodness, Riley sounds great. And a little terrifying. I almost hope she does offer a makeover, so I can struggle to pick an icon that would appropriately sum up Victoria's WTF face. Victoria would try to act chill, but aggressive flirting would probably make her blushy and super awkward. I don't know if Victoria would know her well at this point - besides as one of the cheerleaders - but she would probably think she's sort of overwhelming.

stclair), Azurcrest junior, Seeker. Micah's very LOUD and EXCITABLE and has taken it upon himself to organize the alcohol-fuelled Grotto parties. He'll be the most familiar to Victoria, as one of her classmates. Micah's probably flirted with her in the past, because Micah likes nothing more than a) Coppertales, and b) people who deploy dry sarcasm, but I imagine she'll think he's a Bit Much, haha.

Sylvester "Sy" Stoker (

threatens), Coppertale senior, Quidditch captain & Chaser. Sy has a reputation for being kind of a loudmouth aggressive asshole, but he's actually very good friends with Veronica (as he's dating Vee's best friend, Clem). He'll be nice enough to Victoria, given she's Vee's little sister.

Iliya Krum (

iliya), Ebonhide senior, Hogwarts exchange student. Iliya is a cellist, and antisocial by nature (sometimes he pretends he can't speak English to avoid talking to people), so Victoria probably won't be too familiar with him? Aside from him being a senior Ebonhide like Vee. I... am not even sure Iliya would be aware Victoria is related to Vee. Their hair colours are different???

Hieronymus "Hero" Lee (

victimless), Ebonhide sophomore, prefect. Hero is an ambitious, judgmental kid who tries his best to appear Very Nice and responsible. They'll cross paths when it concerns prefect business. Hero would probably respect Victoria since she's so no-nonsense.

This journal is Saira Raza. She's in Victoria's house! Although she is a year older. Victoria probably knows her as that older girl who is never not studying except when she pauses briefly to make dry/snarky remarks and then immediately stops listening to you to go back to studying. She is ALSO in Occlumency and is in fact the Occlumency TA this year and also runs a Stdudy Group (yes, capitalize it or she'll be annoyed) so if Victoria needs any help, she's your gal. ALSO SHE LIVES IN THE LIBRARY TOO. And sucks at friends. IDK THEY SOUND KINDA ALIKE IN SOME WAYS MAYBE THEY CAN BE FRIENDS IDK IDK.

Ree Hobbs

badassbeatergirl is an Azurcrest junior. She's extremely outgoing and super into honesty. She's a fellow prefect and is on the Quidditch team as a beater who runs every morning as additional exercise. And she's dating senior Coppertale Dom so she's at their campsite a lot, just, like, hanging around, bugging people with her lack of boundaries. So she and Victoria are definitely familiar and Ree is basically friendly until proven otherwise, and even then she doesn't hold a grudge unless you deliberately lie to her/break her trust. Plus she has a thing for befriending and then passionately defending people who seem to have trouble making friends.

Gabi Flores

humansunshine is a Ribbonfin junior who is ALSO also a prefect, so there's that. She's very sunshiney and sweet and loves you, Victoria, based solely on the fact that you exist. That's Gabi for you. She also likes water-based activities, hugs, and unicorns.

And finally and probably least-relevantly is Violet McGonagall

notgonagall who is a sophomore Azurcrest and a new exchange student from Hogwarts this year. She likes being contrary, pranks, getting into trouble, and Not Quidditch. Betting on Quidditch sounds like a lark, though.

cecaelian) is my senior and she's in Ribbonfin. She's also an active member of the Event Committee and its president this year, so she's probably a familiar face, if nothing else. She's a friendly, prissy, recovering mean girl who really likes crowns. They're both in Gaming!

Estella "Essie" Morales-Tran (

magitechnically) is my junior and she's in Azurcrest. She's also the Artificing TA and on the Quidditch team. She's loud, naive, and irresponsible but she's trying really hard to change that this year!!! By virtue of being a junior, Victoria is already one of her thirty-nine best friends. Essie loves to inappropriately ward her classmates en masse. They're in some classes together and D&F!

Paris "Pear" Holloway (

tartinedeflageolets) is my sophomore and she's an Ebonhide. She's a new prefect this year who's obsessed with unicorns and carnivorous plants. She's an Aggressively Nice monster who's still navigating how to prefect the rest of the monsters in her year, especially her twin sister London. They share D&F!

Essie might be a bit much for Victoria sometimes, and she may respond to some of that enthusiasm and optimism with a little cheeky attitude, but she'd think Essie's decent and wouldn't get too snippy or cruel about it.

Hi! I'm Heather and I have three here. I'll start with the most relevant two!

~fillefidele is Jo May, Ebonhide Junior prefect, Italian American bundle of feistiness from NYC and future MACUSA superstar if she has her way. She's here on a full academic scholarship so she has a bit of a chip on her shoulder and a lot to prove.

~thecourtier is Dominic Tremblay, Coppertale Senior. He was a prefect until the summer but handed in his badge to focus on his studies, but in reality the strain of the last year was not good for him emotionally so that's another reason. He's a pretty decent guy and he's proud of his Quebec heritage, and will sometimes play up the non-native English thing. Don't believe him - he's perfectly competent ;)

Finally, this girl is my newbie, soon to be selected Ribbonfin Chaser, sophomore Peyton Ryder. She's another tiny wee thing, this time from Georgia. She's not a scholarship kid but she got onto Gooseberry's radar for her playing skills from Ilvermorny.

Todd Skynner (

quickbuck) is another Coppertale Junior!!! He is... very high energy and kind of a class clown during school stuff, so I'm not sure how well he'd actually get along with Victoria? Also, he's especially a lot of a loud idiot when he's talking to girls. Especially Victoria's roommates, who he thinks are the coolest girls at this school. Victoria is probably not excluded from this. Sorry, Tori! Todd's on the Coppertale cheer team as their mascot.

Clem Decourt (this journal) is Vee's best friend! She absolutely adores Vee unconditionally and she'll definitely stick her nose out for Victoria if she ever needs it. Although it sounds like she can take care of herself haha. She's the co-captain of the Ebonhide Quidditch team and she actually also ran a betting ring for the USA national Quidditch League the last few years, and she jogs in the mornings! So I think she'd like Victoria a lot for a lot of reasons!

Ariadne Flint (

novelling) is another junior, although she's in Ebonhide. She's Jade's best friend and kind of just follows along with whatever Jade does, so how well they get along will probably depend on how well Jade and Victoria get along. Ari's a little sullen and not very social on her own, but she also spends a lot of time in the library and is a big reader, so they might have run into each other that way. Ari runs the school newspaper.

Reece Downing (

peanutbuttercup) is a senior prefect in Azurcrest house. He likes all the younger prefects a lot, so long as they take their job seriously, so I imagine he'd like Victoria.

And my sophomore Natalie Prince (

heresie) is probably not going to have a lot of overlap with her.

Even though Victoria may wish Todd would chill a bit during classes sometimes, I think she really cares about her year/housemates and would think of him as a friend. Plus, how can you hate on someone who thinks you're the coolest? She might give him an eyebrow raise when he gets especially squirrelly, but she'd have his back. Even though cheerleading isn't her thing, she'd be happy to practice stunts with him and will probably even smile and laugh a little as he runs around acting like an idiot in his costume during games.

Clem sounds awesome and Victoria will be a huge fan.

Not sure yet how she'll be getting along with Jade, but at the very least she'd know Ariadne from classes and as the head of the school paper, which I figure Victoria would read pretty regularly.

longcons), who is a coppertale junior and fellow prefect. he could also be described as 'dry as plain toast,' lmao. cash is deadpan snarker and overachiever, whose ruthless independence is getting steadily ground down by his dumb friends. he usually likes people who share his sense of humour, so he'll probably enjoy victoria's company. look at all these bombastic, fiery coppertales with their stonefaced prefects.

my other junior is zachary zheng (

readingrainbows); he is also a prefect, albeit in azurcrest. zach was a prefect last year too, and he takes his duties pretty seriously. recently, this has meant feeling like a frazzled new parent at the ripe old age of 16. zach is a daydreamer, a lover of adventures (mostly fictional, often historical, and a permanent resident in the library — so victoria has definitely seen him around. he likes most people, although she may find him a little annoying, as he's both chatty and very earnest.

ulysses quayle is a senior ebonhide; he's a little less relevant to victoria, but he might be known to her through vee, as all the senior ebonhides tend to move as a pack, lol. he's also the other co-captain of the ebonhide quidditch team. ulysses is a bratty baby brother himself, and he loves pulling pigtails, but he always has a nice word for vee, and so he'd be friendly with victoria by extension. although if victoria is close to clem, she may not like him much, as those two infamously do not get along.

last is my coppertale sophomore, marie patterson (

prophesie) coppertale sophomore and all around disaster child. victoria has probably told everyone in that cabin to go to bed.

I think she'll like Cash and will probably get along with him well. She's incredibly grateful to have a like-minded prefect to work with.

She'll appreciate how well-read Zach is and will definitely see him around the library, but yeah, she may get a little annoyed if he's too chatty while she's reading. For the most part, she'd be okay with him, and you know, prefect solidarity!

If Ulysses is friends with Vee, she'd probably be all right with him - although if he's aggressively awful to Clem, she may snark at him occasionally.
