Belated Intro for Webster Knox (and me!)

Hello! I'm Ben and I'm new to this game (and games like this in general, actually). Very excited to jump right in! I live in LA -- although am currently traveling in Europe -- and am friends with Aleena. I think that's everything interesting about me.

My character is Webster Knox, an Azurcrest senior who just transferred in from Beauxbatons. Full profile here.

What to say about him? Webster is new to Gooseberry this year. He wanted to come to be with his best friend, Lilika Ignacz. Also, he just wants a fresh start. He's always lived a very reserved, well-mannered, and quiet life (initially in Braddock, PA and later at Beauxbatons) and now is trying -- with Lilika's encouragement -- to say yes to everything, to have adventures, \ to collect stories. So while he (and I) is only vaguely familiar with the events of last year, he's excited about the possibility of crazy shit doing down again. 

His placement in Azurcrest is more an optimistic projection than the result of a body of work; that is, he hasn't really lived an Azurcrest lifestyle but he's intent on doing so starting now. (This isn't always easy for him, though, and he can't always follow through.)

What else? His dad is a muggle steelworker and Quaker leader. His mom is a pureblood Spanish noble. They're both serious, hardworking, respectful, and humble. Webster speaks Spanish, has mechanical and handyman skills, and secretly writes poetry. Besides Lilika, Webster hasn't had many friends. He was a loner at Beauxbatons and spent most of his time there playing music. Oh yeah, Webster is super into music.

- Because Webster is trying to say "Yes!" to more things, he's probably down for most storylines. Even if they terrify him.

- Webster is definitely looking for friends -- his problem in the past hasn't been that people don't like him (he's likable!) but he just hasn't formed many deep bonds. But he's trying!

- Happy to have an enemy! I should note, he's rather non-confrontational. He's more likely to stand up for his friends than he is for himself. So anyone who crosses Lilika will have to deal with Webster, too.

- Oh, and if anyone wanted to be in a band, Webster would happily, happily join.

Hey, welcome to the game. I'm roz.

I have three but I don't have an Azurcrest. The most relevant is Olivia Sanchez. She's a coppertail senior and she's a prefect. Olivia is very open and friendly. She's hardcore into engineering and was raised by a retired boxer father and is into that too. She's got half a mind to start a self defense club in light of what happened last year. But she shares classes with Webster and will be super friendly to him.

Quentin Youngblood is the least relevant. He's a coppertale sophomore and a raised in a conspiracy freak family that lives off the grid at the Youngblood compound. He'll likely interact most with Webster on the journals Bc he'll like interact with everybody most on the journals. They also have outdoor exploration together

And then there's Solomon Webb at this journal. He's a junior ebonhide and a chaser for their team. He lives in Honduras so his first language is English. Solomon's parents are pretty old and he tends to take most things at face value and doesn't understand the need for everybody to lie all the time. He also has music as his advanced study and is pretty hardcore into it. He also has outdoor exploration and is a pretty fixture around the music room.

I don't have anything specific for you but I'll do my best to interact with webster and we can see where that goes. Shit usually develops organically pretty quickly here.

HI! I'm Alex, and welcome to the cult. IIIII have too many characters (five, I have five characters, it's too many), and now you get to hear about them!!

SO FIRST and most relevant is: Riley Stamper (riledup), who is also an Azurcrest Senior! And on the cheer squad! She is... a lot to handle. Riley is a tiny trashy terror, a party girl, a brat, a wannabe stylist that will try to give people glittery makeovers. She's in a couple of his classes, and she will be bothering him in Aesthetic Magic to probably draw on him. Riley is not against dragging reluctant people into fun and considers a lot of people her friend.

Also, Rosemary Stoker (this journal), she's a senior Ribbonfin and prefect. All-around sarcastic buzzkill. But if you're a GOOD KID you will probably avoid her wrath.

Jefferson Key (racingstripe) is an Azurcrest junior and on the Quidditch team. He's very friendly and doesn't have an inside voice and he will love Webster, even if he's never met him before.

Dinah Dixon (dinahdanger) is a Coppertale sophomore and honestly it's probably safer for everyone to just steer clear of the sophomore class, they are intense and weird.

AND FINALLY Austin McNamara (soundscaped), who is an Ebonhide junior, also in Music! He's a year younger but in the music room all the time anyway. He's your local self taught acoustic guitar kid, who will be playing Wonderwall at the next party. Austin only plays guitar (and sings, though he's not, like, great at it), but I would be down for them maybe throwing a band together? A classic saxophone and acoustic guitar duo.

yooooo, hey ben. i'm cameron and i live in europe but am currently visiting california, so we swapped timezones, lmfao. and hello webster! we're so close to having a full set of seniors. since he's a new kid, i don't think any of my characters would have direct connections with him, but two of mine are probably more relevant than not?

my senior is ulysses quayle; he's over in ebonhide (and co-captain of the quidditch team). ulysses is... very different from webster, lol. he comes from a very moneyed political family and is basically a spoiled brat with way too many Feelings™, but also, luckily, a decent spoonful of southern charm or whatever. webster may see him around because webster's roommate, reece, is an old family friend of ulysses'. if they get along, ulysses can usually be counted on to encourage a little adventure or at least, some conversation. if they don't get along, ulysses can usually be counted on to be an annoyance.

my azurcrest is zachary zheng (readingrainbows); he's a junior. zach is a beleaguered prefect. like a lot of the juniors, he tends to stick to people in his class, but he also has a connection to fellow-prefect reece, tho, so webster will probably develop a passing familiarity with him, at least. zach is a total ham, a lover of adventures (mostly fictional, often historical), a daydreamer, and a permanent resident in the library — so he can certainly related to the story-collection thing.

my two other kids are cassius holcomb (longcons), a coppertale junior, new prefect, and overachiever with an extremely deadpan sense of humour, and marie patterson (prophesie), a coppertale sophomore with too much energy and a lot of misplaced musical talent, who enjoys sticking her nose into other people's business. she may actually encounter webster as a fellow music person. she's in a girl band, and can be seen hanging around the music room a lot.

holy shit, i wrote a novel. anyway, welcome to the game! aleena's probably given you the lowdown already, but this place is a wildass ride. i felt kind of overwhelmed by all the backstory and shit when i first joined, but now i'm in super deep, lol. feel free to hit me (or any of us) up if you've got qs.

Hi Ben!!! Welcome! My name's JJ and I am also an Angeleno although I am not currently there either

I have things for you!

Reece Downing, at this journal, is Webster's roomie and prefect. In the past he's been very laid back, but after everything that happened at the end of the last schoolyear, Webster's first impression of him might be a little different. He's going to be pretty strict about enforcing rules with his cabin, but he's not mean about it. He's a little shy, but very supportive of his roomies and friends, and will definitely go out of his way to make sure that Webster is getting settled here and doing well. They also have a few classes together, but I think artificing will be the most relevant: Reece is a very talented magical tinkerer, and has a passion for making mechanical and enchanted toys, so he spends a lot of time in the artificing shed.

Natalie Prince, at heresie, is a Ribbonfin sophomore who usually wouldn't have too much to do with Webster... except she's the Music TA this year, and will be all up in that class's business. She's kind of a busybody and is very forthright about criticisms when it comes to music, so she can come on a little strong. But people with a passion for music are easy for her to relate to, because it's totally her wheelhouse. She might bug him about his favorite bands and musical influences and whatnot.

Clem Decourt, at neattrick, is also a senior. She's in Ebonhide, and is (one of) the captain(s) of the Quidditch team. She's a little more inclined to interact with the quidditch players than the cheerleaders, but her roommate/best friend is the Ebonhide cheer captain, so it's possible they'll run into each other that way. Her reputation on campus is probably... mixed reviews? She's got a lot of friends, but also kind of runs with a crowd of obnoxious Quidditch jocks who have a reputation for doing super-dumb shit and breaking their bones and getting in fights.

Todd Skynner, at quickbuck, is the Coppertale cheer mascot! We should do something with the cheer mascots as a group. I'm really excited about them and I think they'll all be super cute.

My last character, Ariadne Flint at novelling, probably won't run in the same circles as him and isn't super social. She is friends with the old Azurcrest cheer captain and a cheerleader herself, though. I imagine her relationship with Webster will be largely dependent on how long she gets along with Lilika, so... TBA!

I have four, of which this journal belongs to the newest, Violet McGonagall. She's an Azurcrest Soph who transferred from Hogwarts this year, so they can be in the Just Transferred club together. She's kinda intrigued by a Beauxboy and wants to know what that's like, so.

I also have a Azurjunior, Ree Hobbs badassbeaterbabe who will probably chatter at him at some point too, especially if he's gonna be the mascot, since she's a Beater on the team. She's also a prefect, recovering former partier, and artist who doesn't believe in boundaries or anything but total honesty. So. You've been warned.

And Saira Raza sairaza is a coppertale senior who is like the human embodiment of a day planner? She spends most of her time studying obsessively and runs Study Group, which isn't an official club but she basically pretends it is and if Webster needs help in any of his classes or just likes studying he's welcome to join. Saira doesn't like having feelings but sometimes she does and it's weird.

And finally, and least relevantly, Gabi Flores humansunshine who is a junior Ribbonfin and just likes hugging everyone and being optimistic all the time and just...being nice. She already considers Webster a friend by virtue of the fact that he goes to this school. If his hair was longer she'd braid it. Also, HELLO FELLOW SPANISH SPEAKER, she loves those, even if her Spanish is Guatemalan Spanish and not like...Spain.

Webster will be shocked and scandalized and probably delighted by Ree's honesty -- so that's great.

Hey dude!! I'm Rin~ Hope you're having fun on your trip and, of course, welcome to the game!

My most relevant kid is Jaime (lupofiasco) as he's Webster's roommate! He's from Mexico so is fluent in Spanish, so I'm sure he'll blab to Webster in his native tongue with some frequency. He's friendly and energetic and is doing his best to be less adventurous this year since responsibility, or whatever. Jaime pretty much likes everyone so I'm sure they'll get along, and he'll definitely encourage him to get out and do more things! Even if they are not great ideas! Sorry! He's also the Azurcrest Quidditch captain this year so he very much appreciates mascotting support.

My other kids are way less helpful but I'll give you a rundown of them anyways:

Hazel, this journal, who is a junior Coppertale cheerleader who hits boys a lot and is just kind of ridiculous. She'll likely call Webster a loser at least once. The only thing they have in common is sports cheering sooo I don't imagine this being much of a thing.

Ramon (sochill), junior Ribbonfin blasé Quidditch player who just flirts with people and gets annoyed when people are dramatic. They could potentially run into each other with moderate frequency since his older sister Sofia is a senior Azurcrest, but they don't have a lot in common?? He also speaks Spanish.

Annnnd Phoebe (opuntia) who is my newest kiddo! She's a grumpy shy senior Ebonhide who is a new prefect and is obsessed with plants. She will probably avoid talking to Webster if she can help it just because she is not the most social, but they are in the same grade and have some overlapping classes (Astronomy, Potions, Charms) and she won't hate him so that's kind of a good start!!

Hey Ben! Welcome to the game! I'm Meggie, one of the mods, and I have too many characters!!!

Most relevant to Webster is Mackenzie Prince (this journal, senior Azurcrest), one of the senior Azurcrest prefects. She was formerly the cheer captain, but passed that off to Lilika when she was given the prefect badge. Kenzie's part mean girl, part class clown, part wannabe femme fatale. She's an ice queen with a love of mean jokes, but comes with a lot of confidence, poise and competence. She's not... friendly, per se, but Webster will be under her prefect umbrella of protection.

Reid Wainwright (cyninae, senior Coppertale) is in Webster's year, but he's very stilted and unfriendly. He's Coppertale's star Seeker, and most people probably assume he's a cool ice prince. He's not. He's just painfully awkward and struggles to articulate himself. Through a series of unfortunate events, he's now a Coppertale senior prefect, and he's trying his best. Reid has a soft heart but he's pretty shy.

Spencer Sweet (bitterlysweet, junior Coppertale) is a loud, friendly aspiring pro figure skater. Spencer's nice, but rough around the edges, known for getting into fights and breaking rules. He's on a rival cheer squad and sometimes hassles shy kids with his excessive friendliness, so he might bug Webster if they cross paths.

Calvin Evercreech (evercreep, junior Ribbonfin) is a Hogwarts exchange student and reformed Slytherin bully. Although he's technically reformed, Calvin is still unpleasant, abrasive, severe and generally a little hard to get close to. He's a Beater for Ribbonfin this year, and very academically motivated. He's also the vice president of Duelling Club. Webster probably won't have to deal with him which is good because he's a brat.

Archimedes Rose (cherubic, sophomore Ebonhide) is probably best known as the kid who drugged all the upperclassmen with Amortentia last year. He got suspended, his partner in crime was expelled. Archie is a soft spoken mad scientist with a tendency to get obsessed with his crushes and then stalk them for brief periods. He's a creepy kid, and Webster probably doesn't need to worry about him.

kurt wolfhart (this journal) is in webster's's year and a ribbonfin prefect. they share some classes and are both in OE and boating! he had a similar project last year (NEW KURT™), starting as a shy and timid dude with a stutter and ending up a slightly more confident dude with a stutter and one (1) detention under his belt. he's crazy about animals of all types and is here for the drama program. i think he'd like webster a lot! AND THEY'RE BOTH MASCOTS, WHICH IS ADORABLE. i demand mascot shenanigans. please.

casey patterson (sunsoutgunsout) is also in his year and in coppertale. he's a... reformed bully, bro, dance machine, meathead, dumbass. he's like a dog that's trying hard to be good but doesn't really know how. and he's promiscuous af. his best friend left at the end of last year and he's on the prowl for a new one, and as a new student in his year, webster is a candidate even though they've never met and he hasn't been told. (don't worry, he's not alone -- ulysses, lachlan, and phineas are also on the shortlist.) this means webster will be exposed to a period of overly-chummy treatment from a complete stranger! ✌️ yeah!!!

paige ripley (jumpcut) is in webster's house a year below, and is also a new student! she's too curious, has little idea of what an invasive question is, and treats everybody like her best friend. she's also collecting stories! which she writes in her journal as movie scripts. they're always bad but she isn't bothered because it's FUN! she's also a baby seer who divines using fish entrails :| tl;dr she's a weirdo. webster's going to get a lot of questions, get ready bucko.

corrigan bailey (byebyebirdies) is a sophomore in ribbonfin and her only connection would probably be in music -- she was a ~child star~ pre-gooseberry in a nickelodeon-style TV show with her sisters where they played a band. gb is her way of staking out her own identity and pursuing her passion (her parents think it's music, she KNOWS it's quidditch.) she sings and plays the acoustic guitar and harmonica. she's sassy and feels like she has a lot to prove.

Hi Kas! I love your characters! They're so fun! (GOOD LUCK managing FOUR vibrant humans, though). Webster is definitely down for some mascot shenanigans and can't wait for all of Paige's questions. Webster may sometimes be delicate in his responses, but he'll always be honest. He does not like hypotheticals though -- they're a waste of time in his eyes.

Hi, Ben!!! I'm Lyss. WELCOME TO THIS PLACE! I have FOUR Characters.

This one is the most probably relevant. This is Adeline Foster-Hayes (ADDY). She's in Azurcrest and a senior also. They are in OE and some classes together! She is the Potions teacher's assistant, having given up a very short prefecture after their first prefect last year stepped down. (There's been a lot of senior Azurgirl prefects.) Addy's something of a recovering wild child, and used to act out a lot/ partied a lot. These days, she's mostly directed that energy into a future Potions career. She's very warm, kind, likes people in general, and she'll welcome Webster here! He can get discounts on hangover potions for all his newfound partying needs.

I also have Ferdinand Ayers at ferdie, a senior Ribbonfin and the head boy this year. They ALSO overlap some classes, also Boating Club. He's very calm, level-headed, but also quite sarcastic with a hidden steely streak. His mother is well-known for stealing state secrets from MACUSA to be an interesting journalist. BUT Ferdie's mom isn't here, and he will welcome Webster to Gooseberry. Everything's safe here! It's fine! He will probably really like him, actually, they both seem to be even-keeled and could get along!

I ALSO also have Jade Otterwell at odder. She's also an Azurcrest, but she's a year below Webster. She's a pureblood and her mother is a Guatemalan ambassador, and goes to Spain for work sometimes so their families miiight know of each other. Buuut Jade's weird. She's an actress, liar, mean girl (sometimes,) who's doing better here at GB but still likes teasing people a lot too much. And death and hexes. She delights in those too much too. She's a little insular to her friends/class, especially after last year, but she could very well tune in to tease Webster, and I'm sorry.

And LASTLY I have Tuesday North at tues. She's a baby sophomore Ebonhide. She's a stunt flier and will be the Seeker on the Quidditch team this year. She thinks she's girl James Dean only she's only confident enough to be that way when backed up by her peers or else she gets. Very. Nervous. She's probably hidden nervous anyway. She will prooobably not know Webster that well.

Addy sounds great and will be a dangerous enabler for Webster. And as much as Webster may be trying to live a wilder life, I think he'll most naturally gravitate towards people like Ferdinand -- even-kneeled and level-headed are languages that Webster can speak.

I'd be down with Jade's family possibly's knowing Webster's, even if the two kids haven't met before. Webster's maternal grandmother was an actress turned aristocrat (think a snooty, Spanish Grace Kelly) if that's at all interesting to Jade.

Hello there and welcome to the game! I'm Jackie and I've got three monsters, though currently none of them are in Azurcrest.

Most relevant is Roxanne Barringer (uponawire) who is also a Senior, but over in Coppertale. She was raised in what pretty much equates to Magic Traveling Circus and walks tightrope. when she's not at school violently beating on things during Quidditch games.

And the other two are a bit less relevant - but there's this disaster, Sebastien Lacroix (professionalcorpse). He's a prefect and a Junior over in Ebonhide. But he has a huge mouth and is also mascotting and has way too much enthusiasm in general, so he'll be friendly! And then I have the new baby, Antigone Brown (nightandday) who is a Sophomore in Ribbonfin.

Antonia Papadakis (heyitsnia) is an Ebonhide senior and Head Girl. She is also a fellow musician/pianist and cheerleader. Nia spends most of her free time in the music room, so Web will probably see a lot of her? This is not a good thing because Nia is a garbage girl and a steamroller. She is friendly, but aggressively so, and might be a bit overwhelming. But, at any rate, she would be more than happy to help Webster figure stuff out. She loves her fellow music kids and is kind of preoccupied with Setting A Good Example this year.

Yancey Montgomery (hotdish) is a Ribbonfin senior. He and Webster have some class overlap and Yam's on RF cheer. Yancey was at Hogwarts last year as an exchange student and just returned after having a not great time there, so he also isn't 100% up on what transpired last year and is presently trying to reacclimate to Gooseberry life. He's artsy and enthusiastic and a little weird.

Lucas Kowalski (bubblewrapped) is an Azurcrest junior and the Charms TA. Lucas is a weirdo introvert, but he does tend to talk to some of the upper classmen in rare moments of daring. If you want to talk about spooky shit or science fiction or charms, Lucas is your guy.

Nisha Lewis (godzillabutworse) is a Coppertale sophomore. Quidditch child and gymnast. You can try not making eye contact but she'll probably ask you an invasive question, anyway.

I'm very happy Webster and Antonia will be bumping into each other in the music room, regardless if they like each other or not. If Webster is serious about getting out of his bubble, then he needs to deal with big personalities. Especially in the music space, which has traditionally been where he's gone to retreat.

Hi! Welcome to the game! I'm Jordan, and I have five. I'll try and stick with the most relevant. Let's start with my seniors!

Oscar Zabinsky over at dumb_ass is clearly the most relevant. He's an Azurcrest senior so they are cabin mates! He's also in Potions and Charms with him, as well as OE (the club not class). He's going to be a Quidditch reserve so if anyone ever gets injured, Webster will be cheering for him? lol. As roommates go, Oscar doesn't have a whole lot of stuff so he's generally clean. He's a nerd, awkward, and the kind of person who will always crack a joke in the most awkward situations. He likes to laugh and put people at ease. He's often jittery and nervous and has a lot of energy, but doesn't handle confrontation well and though he likes to form strong bonds, he'll jump ship on you before you get a chance to leave him. I think he'll like Webster and if he needs someone other than Lilika to get him to do spontaneous, stupid things - well, Oz is your man.

Then I have Avery Davenport on this journal. Fellow senior but in Ribbonfin. They share Charms, Outdoor Exploration and Potions. She's also in Outdoor Exploration's club and she's Ribbonfin's Quidditch Captain! She's excitable, fun-loving, non-confrontational, energetic, and a bit of a go-getter. She's more into rules than Oz so she's not likely to get him to do anything stupid but she's just as likely to encourage him to get out there and do stuff! Last year she completed her transition from male-to-female and came out to everyone who was there. This can be something Lilika told him if you like, or not. Up to you. :)

I've also got Samantha Sweeney, a junior Azurcrest over at oh_girl. They share no clubs but they do share a house :) She was in boating last year but end-game almost drowned in the lake and quit that club so :(. My other junior is Isabelle Sargent at cant_even who is in Ebonhide and shares no clubs or anything with him. Lastly is my sophomore Concordia Knight at cheer_leader who is in Coppertale. She does share OE with him and she's also a cheerleader, so they have that in common! I'm not sure how much they'd really interact, but she's fun enough and reeks of school spirit so there's that!

Hi Jordan! I think Webster and Oz will get along great. Also, I see one of his likes is "flirting (badly)." Webster has almost no experience flirting, will probably assume Oz's technique is excellent, and will want to ask him for advice.

Excited to see Avery around a lot, too! Webster knows about Avery's transition from Lilika, but he'd never be the one to bring it up first. One, it feels rude to him, and two, he wouldn't know what to say besides, "Oh yeah, how'd that go?"

Hey there, Ben! :) Sorry I'm late to the party but welcome to the game. I'm Katie and I've also got five stupid kids to introduce...

Lachlan Galbraith (this account) will be the most relevant for Webster because he's a fellow Azurcrest senior and his roomie! He's the teaching assistant for Hermeticism and an exchange student from Hogwarts (he's from Edinburgh) that came to Gooseberry last year, so he definitely understands being the New Guy. Fortunately, he found that Azurcrest was one of the most welcoming places he could come into and he'll try to pay that forward to Webster.

Lachlan's a friendly guy but not as upbeat or extroverted as many of his blue jay peers. He's at his happiest when he's learning something new or accomplishing something (not wanting to lose touch with this is actually what got him into Azurcrest) buuut he's also a highly strung overachiever that validates himself with his grades and the approval of adults, so he can be a little intense at times. Whoops? He's also a neat freak and has some issues with anxiety that mostly surface around exam time. It doesn't sound like Webster will push any of his various buttons, though, and I imagine they'll get along fine. :) They don't have a ton of overlap apart from the basic classes but they do have Outdoor Exploration together and Lachlan is all about that, so hopefully they can have some fun there!

Alsoooo. I see that he dislikes American Football! Lachlan and Jaime agree and often play real football if Web would ever like to join them~

Casper Kim (casperkim) is my other senior and he's over at Ebonhide, where he's a prefect and a Quidditch player (Beater). He's an angry, sarcastic, negative fellow with quite a bit of baggage and aims of being an Auror. He takes his responsibilities seriously and he's actually got a good heart (somewhere), though, and so can be counted on to give Webster a hand if he really needs it. He's a fellow musician (he's a drummer) and he's in the Boating Club...but mostly he's just there to swim and grumble about how lakes don't compare to the ocean. He likely won't have a problem with Webster but he won't go out of his way to be nice either.

Cole Moss (colemoss) is a Ribbonfin junior and a space cadet artist with an infuriating natural talent for magic. While he's a bit of a wunderkind, though, he's socially awkward and bad at reading other people. He's also the president of the Crafting Club. He won't have much overlap with Webster, probably.

Heathcliff Lacey (heathclifflacey) is a Coppertale junior and an upbeat, impulsive, emotional extrovert. He's a bit of a dumb jock but well-meaning and excitable and a good guy when he's not letting himself get carried away. He's a Chaser on the Quidditch team and is surprisingly invested in Gardening Club and Divination despite how...very out of character that initially seems. He also won't matter, probably. He does think you're a cool mascot, though. Shake your tailfeathers, Webster!

Grace Sowerberry (gracesowerberry) is my lil' one. She's a Ribbonfin sophomore, a new prefect, and a new member of the cheerleading team. She's got aspirations of being an opera singer and has a big, amazing voice...but she's shy and indecisive and non-confrontational in her everyday interactions. She might see Webster from time to time in the Music Room because she's also in Music but that and cheer are their only notable overlaps. She's starting to decide all older cheer boys are nice, though (thanks Casey and Spencer!), so she may assume he's nice by default.

Hi Katie! Webster would love to play proper football with Lachlan and Jaime whenever! He hopes you don't flop though -- he hates that it gives the sport a bad name among his American friends.

Webster plans on spending a lot of time in the music room so he'll definitely see Grace there. He's been at Beauxbatons for the last six years and is proficient in French if Grace ever wanted to talk to him about their peers without them understanding. Then again, Webster would be uncomfortable gossiping. Okay yeah, Webster is another one of those nice cheer boys.

This gal is Peyton Ryder. Talking point there is Quidditch. She's only a sophomore, but she's just been chosen for the Ribbonfin team, playing Chaser. She's a teeny tiny bundle of energy and power who is remarkably restrained in actual conversation.

~fillefidele is Joanna May, Ebonhide Junior Prefect. Italian-American from NY, she's a scholarship kid on a full ride with her eyes set on MACUSA. Smart as a whip and she enjoys the arts as a release, being in Choir and Drama. She's a close friend of Ree Hobbs, her counterpart prefect in Azurcrest.

~thecourtier is my senior, Dominic Tremblay of Coppertale. He resigned the prefect badge this summer to focus on his studies. He's into social justice and all things north of the border, as he's from Quebec and a native speaker of French. He's Ree Hobbs' boyfriend so can be seen hanging around Azurcrest a fair bit, and they will have some classes together. Friendly?

I've got:

Cameron Carney gonnabefamous, Ebonhide senior. He's very outgoing and friendly, and tends to talk to everyone like they're old pals (even if he can't remember their names). So, outwardly, he seems more of an Azurcrest than an Ebonhide, and he's a staple at all the parties. He's big into music, and spends a ton of time in the music room, because he wants to grow up to be a famous musician like his mother, who's a famous wizarding country star.

Chloe Shepherd cmdrchloe, Ribbonfin senior. Chloe is friendly and kind, but kind of awkward, and terrified of conflict. She's a muggleborn and a huge geek; sci-fi is her go to genre.

Fern Mufferaw nothalfplaid, Coppertale junior. She's the daughter of the school healer, and she's a lot like him (but never tell her that). She's surly and sardonic and rebellious, and gets long best with people who roll with her banter and don't take her too seriously.

London Holloway beansontoast, Azurcrest sophomore. London is very personable, friendly, and so very talkative. She also loves to gossip and stick her nose into other people's relationships. London is an enthusiastic and prolific photographer who wants to be a paparazzi when she grows up, and she practices here at GB by taking juicy pictures of her classmates.

WELCOME BEN and sorry I'm trickling in way late! I'm hope you're not overwhelmed by all the responses yet, haha. I'm Marin, the other mod, and I currently have four:

Sylvester "Sy" Stoker (threatens), Coppertale senior, Quidditch captain & Chaser. They're classmates! Webster would know him as someone who's kind of a loudmouth aggressive asshole, so I imagine Webster would stay out of Sy's way. (On the flipside, he might try to become friends with Lilika, since he's friendly to cheer captains, but WE'LL SEE.)

Iliya Krum (iliya), Ebonhide senior, Hogwarts exchange student. Also classmates! Webster would know him better, since they're both in Music! Iliya is a cellist, and antisocial by nature (sometimes he pretends he can't speak English to avoid talking to people), but he'd be warmer towards Webster, as a fellow musician.

Micah St. Clair (stclair), Azurcrest junior, Seeker. Micah's very LOUD and EXCITABLE and has taken it upon himself to organize the alcohol-fuelled Grotto parties. He'd be friendly to Webster as they're both on Azurcrest athletic teams, but I'd imagine they'd be more acquaintances.

Hieronymus "Hero" Lee (victimless), Ebonhide sophomore, prefect. Hero would be least familiar to Webster, probably, but he's an ambitious, judgmental kid who tries his best to seem responsible and Very Nice.

Hi Ben! I'm Manx and I'm even later than Marin. Sorry! I've managed to keep my set to one character per year for now!

Ursula de Luca (cecaelian) is my senior and she's in Ribbonfin. She's also an active member of the Event Committee and its president this year, so she's probably a familiar face, if nothing else. She's a friendly, prissy, recovering mean girl who really likes crowns. She lived in Pittsburgh until she was six and still has a soft spot for the city. They're in Potions, Charms, Artificing and Outdoor Education together. (Ursula is less than pleased about that last one.)

Estella "Essie" Morales-Tran (magitechnically) is my junior and she's in Azurcrest. She's also the Artificing TA and on the Quidditch team. She's loud, naive, and irresponsible but she's trying really hard to change that this year!!! They're not in any clubs together, but she'll be dropping by senior Artificing and sometimes makes appearances in the Music room to practice her trumpet!

Paris "Pear" Holloway (tartinedeflageolets) is my sophomore and she's an Ebonhide. She's a new prefect this year who's obsessed with unicorns and carnivorous plants. She's an Aggressively Nice monster who's still navigating how to prefect the rest of the monsters in her year, especially her twin sister London. They're in OE together!
