Oh no, your character has accidentally ingested Veritaserum! This powerful truth serum effectively forces the drinker to answer any questions put to them truthfully. This is probably bad news for even the most well-behaved teenager.

• Your character has to be honest to the best of their knowledge. They will answer with what they believe is the truth. They can also attempt to evade answering, as long as they don't lie.

• This meme is strictly non-canon. Nothing said in this post is part of game canon in any way. When we return to our regularly scheduled game, your character absolutely cannot reference anything revealed to them in this meme. If you do, the mods may have to tsk tsk you and ask you to take back the reference. No one wants that.

Actions speak louder than words, perhaps that's the extent of my plan. It's highly circumstantial, after all. But if I am able to bring havoc to you and your cabin I would consider that a very positive step.

I'm never really certain if you're that truly obtuse or it's just an act you think is charming or amusing, but benefitting from nepotism and the praise of male mediocrity tends to bring me to believe it's a combination of both.

I'm not a celebrity yet, but I can see as how you'd mistake the goal in progress for the current state of affairs. And you say knocked down a peg like you think you've managed to do it. Or like you think telling me I'm not gonna be real good at something I've never tried to do is supposed to hurt my feelings or something. It kinda makes me sad for you, honestly. Cause I think if you could manage to cut back on some of this, you'd make friends easier. This school is pretty accepting of odd folks.

I don't particularly care to make friends of your ilk, nor do I find your opinion on any such matter as holding any weight, but if you wish to believe you have in any way affected my thoughts or feelings then I can do what the rest of your friends seem to do very well. I can smile, I can nod, and let you go about thinking you are quite right. I can't say I mind what you think either way.

Honestly, I'm more worried about your prefect than I am about you.

I don't think Sylla will do anything to jeopardize the club, but we'll all be regretting it if Lilywhite catches wind of anyone seeking revenge on the piste.

I understand and appreciate the intent.

In any case, I won't mind that much, although I might complain about some of them. Maybe all this will make me realise I should stay away from Stoker if he comes back. I just want to focus on my spellwork, not waste time on interpersonal politics. I do enough of that already.

Some shall have to appeal, won't they? That should be quite a lot of fun. It is fun to make people think they are being kept on a leash. It is hard not to smile when that happens.

Interpersonal politics are most boring except for those which reveal weaknesses you can use to your own advantage later. But I expect to do what Mummy does and just be polite and sweet and keep what I really think at bay. Mummy says that is the best course of action at any rate.

Some people chafe at the implication anyone else has even the slightest bit of power over them. I can't blame them, but I want to make sure they know where they stand in D&F. This isn't every violent student's playground.

Unfortunately, I reveal as many as I learn, and "sweet" is not an adjective I'd use for myself. I'm going to work on the former next year, but [...] probably not the latter. Still, your mum sounds like she has the right idea. You can pull that off.
