If you guys want to put up placeholders for logs you're still working on or posts you want to make before the IC comm locks, do it today.

I'll be making a placeholder for the Ghost Adventures IC/OOC, which I meant to do this weekend but it... didn't happen. It will probably happen tomorrow and we can just mess around with it until the 10th when the seniors all become ghosts themselves. ♥

As noted in our last mod announcement, a preview of the new cast list will be posted sometime in the morning on Sunday, August 13. Players who do not have any Quidditch players will be eligible to make an early hold on that day. We'll have more details when we come closer to the date.

It has been so loooooong!

1) I finished school for the year. Found out I'm getting a raise. HELL YA I DESERVE THAT.
2) I have become far too emotionally invested in TV shows that finish this year (Turn) or next (GOT) that I have started binging the weirdest stuff on Netflix as a result.
3) I have done not one iota of work related stuff in three weeks. It has been blissful.
4) Went to see Dunkirk today. The Academy just needs to give up now and give Christopher Nolan that Oscar already.

HOORAY FOR RAISES!! CONGRATS ON THAT.

I am currently:

1. Yelling at the keyboard on my work computer for not listening to me and then typing extra letters when it does listen. I could complain about it and get the office manager to replace it but then...... I don't. I think I'm bonded to this thing now.
2. Craving pizza for the fourth time this week. It's Monday, this shouldn't be possible.
3. Melting into a puddle in anticipation of a week of 100+ temperatures oh god I miss the coast.
4. Trying to not bite my nails. I make a half-hearted attempt to stop biting my nails, like, once a month. It will never work someone please just come remove my fingers for me.

i need help finding a soph-appropriate pb! i think the one i was going for before (naomi scott in power rangers) is too old, and weirdly enough i think she looks older in her earlier stuff. i tried pb_updates but now that photobucket's being a jerk it's SUCH A PAIN IN THE BUTT. so

i'm hunting for a sophomore-aged girl with ~sass,~ someone who looks capable of trouble but doesn't have "delinquent" stamped on her forehead. does anyone have any ideas?

Hey guys, on the evening of the blackout, I just want you all to know that Marin and I feel very proud of this game and everything that's been accomplished. Thank you for going on this journey with us. Marin and I have never moderated a game before, and while sometimes we got in a little over our heads, it's been a great experience overall. The two of us have learned so much, made a lot of friends, and grown closer as a couple.

Next year things should run a little more smoothly, and we know better what our limits are. I've put a limit on how many ic/oocs I'm allowed to post per month, for instance! All of your patience, friendship, understanding and cooperation has made the hard times worth getting through. Running the game has never been easy, but we've made great characters and memories along the way.

So... cheers to another year of magical teens! Fuck realism happily ever after for everyone!!!!!

So I was bored one day and went through and compiled a list of all of my favorite Xavier-related shit. It's extremely long and it's all Zav related so not......super interesting to others but I already had it done so. I cried approximately 4 times compiling it.

Have you ever had to explain how these games work to someone who has never played? I feel like we all just tripped on a root and ended up here. I can't remember how this started. Omigod

So, as you may know, your mods are not married to canon. We've discussed from the beginning getting in one or two transfer students with a famous British parent if you catch our drift. With a lot of characters not returning for Y2, we're going to be adding more Hogwarts escapees, so the subject has come up again. We're not ready to commit, but do any of you have thoughts on this? Names you'd love to see or play?
