- Ennis Harper stirs in the middle of the night, and for a second thinks they see a dark figure with antlers just standing amongst the sleeping students. But they blink and it’s gone. Is this paranoia, or did they see one of the forest entities?

🎂 Happy birthday, Ivy and Laurel Templeton!
🌟 Blue Jays Parting Party. It's Azurcrest tradition for their seniors to throw a "Parting Party" each June. Open to the whole school, it celebrates all the adventures they've had and friends they've made at Gooseberry High. This year's event is a beach-themed cookout with swimming, a bonfire, and a slippery surprise. Don't forget your towel!*
*Towels will be provided and it's actually recommended that you don't forget your swimsuit.

QUIDDITCH GAME: Gooseberry v. Hogwarts
- After the game (scheduled for 9 AM), the visiting Hogwarts students will spend the night in the Lodge. They can explore Gooseberry and socialize during the day, assuming the Portkey lag isn’t killing them too much.
- Christopher Park gets into an argument with one of the visiting students, but after a fist fight, some alcohol and a heart-to-heart, you’d think they were best friends.
- Susana Velasquez has a romantic encounter with one of the visiting students. Sadly, they must leave in the morning! Tragic!
- Hazel Keating also has a fling with a visiting student… but they’re less thrilled when the visitor proclaims they’re in love and will apply to Gooseberry to be with them next year. Yikes!
- Sofia Delgado ends up catching the eye of a pair of rivals who compete for their attention all day.

One of the freshmen has been distributing candy… but it’s soon clear they were all joke candies. For the rest of the day:
- Casey Patterson finds themselves speaking only in rhyme.
- Henrietta Gray’s skin turns bright green.
- Glittering sparkles follow Ulysses Quayle around wherever they go. Pretty, but it gives everyone else a headache if they look too long.
- Veronica Powers feels like they were hit with a jelly-legs jinx and needs to be carried everywhere.

Xavier Lewis gets a letter from a relative of theirs who has a mean sense of humor. When they open the envelope in the halls of the lodge, Peruvian Darkness Powder bursts out, blanketing the area in magical darkness! The inconvenience lasts an hour, and Lumos and Incendio don’t do anything to help.

- Magdalen Gillis walks in with their friend, and grabs their friend’s hand so they don’t lose them… only to walk out and find they’re actually holding hands with Riley Stamper. How embarrassing.
- Wyatt Winslow trips and crashes into Saira Raza in the darkness, and ends up banging their face against a wall and getting a bloody nose!
- Joanna May is startled by Robin Youngblood who was creeping around in the darkness “singing” the Jaws theme.

Mrs. O’Hare is excited to introduce the students to a new resident at the school: a rehabilitating unicorn named Bluebell. Unicorns tend to prefer women to men, and those who are pure of heart above all else. She’ll be staying with the school for at least a couple years, until there’s space for her in a more suitable facility. She’s a bit skittish, though, and aside from Mrs. O’Hare herself, Gabriela Flores is the only one who can approach her today.

🌕 STRAWBERRY MOON
Swimming Party! Out behind Ribbonfin there’s a rope swing and enough beach space to throw a little party. Because it’s hidden from the prying eyes of teachers, it was once used for scandalous skinny dipping. While you’re welcome to strip if you want to, mostly it’s going to be swimming, partying, and a little afternoon drinking.
Later that evening...

- Avery Davenport gets a lot of momentum and goes flying into the water! However, when they surface they realize they’ve lost a piece of their bathing suit, and have to shimmy on shore to find a towel to cover up with.
- Jeremiah Rasmussen pulls off an impressive double flip from the rope swing!
- Meanwhile, Charlotte Meer has the unfortunate honor of breaking the “Most Leeches Attached to One Person” record at Gooseberry.
Later that evening...
- Theresa Noble decides to slip off to the Grotto via the new secret path through Ribbonfin. The weather is beautiful, the trees are green. This has been their home for years, they don’t really feel that afraid. Glancing over to the lake, they admire the water until the reflection of the sun off the lazy waves hurts their eyes. When they turn back to the path, there’s a man right in front of them. No, not a man. A thing. A human shaped thing, huge and antlered. Their eyes don’t know where to rest on him. There are no features that make sense. Eyes, but not eyes. A mouth, but always shifting. Tess screams, but can’t move, even though they want to. No, they need to. They can’t be here, they never should have come here.
Tess doesn’t hear the sound of other voices shouting, they just see HIM looming over them, and feel nothing but a need to GO AWAY. Soon, they’re being whisked away in the arms of Dr. O’Hare while Agent Larke looks around protectively. The adults don’t see HIM, though. Tess tries to them that HE is following them. HE follows them all the way to the edge of the forest. HE watches as the two agents take Tess back to the lodge.

Apparently, it's Red Rose Day. Mr. Hightower has decorated the lodge with big red roses. When Samantha Sweeney passes him in the hall, he gives them a bouquet of spares to keep!
The freshmen have put up yet another list. Why are they like this? This time, it’s the seniors they will miss the most, and the seniors they will miss the least. (The mods will use pure RNG to randomize the rankings, but we’ll try to write some charming freshmen commentary on the “decisions.”)

Spring concert. There will be several big numbers that choir will perform, as well as slots for individual performers to take the stage. Cameron Carney performs an impressive solo within one of the group numbers, earning a standing ovation from Ms. Thrussell.
When signing up for student performances, you may invite up to two other people to perform on stage with you, and it won’t cost them a plot calendar spot. The focus should be on solos or duets.
