i used to listen to recording of pathology lectures on the bus and i can still remember to the SECOND the moment when you broke me. let me paint you a picture.

it's a sunday, 11am. i'm on the 39a bus to castleknock, a suburb of dublin, to eat a nice brunch with my friend's family. i see a text. and then another text. what's this? it's a link to the fake teen game i've been teasing jj about for months. "cameronnnn," she says. "just for a few months." i hesitate. i haven't made an oc since i was 13. and rp is for fuckin nerds. no, of course, i'm far too busy. another link appears in my email.

i switch off the soothing tones of dr goljan. no more disseminated intravascular coagulation for me. slowly, i reach for my banjoiest playlist.
