MEME: Dog Breeds

Yes, this meme is completely self-indulgent.
Fill out the form and I'll tell you what kind of dog I think they would be if they were a dog! WIN-WIN. (I'll post an example with Kurt.) Disclaimer: Most of these will probably be bigger dog breeds because they're what I know best. Sorry not sorry for the bias, big dogs are the bomb.
Name:
House:
Profile: Link me.
Social Disposition: How do they act towards strangers? To friends? What are they like in different social situations? Do they have a large group of friends, or perhaps a select few that they're close with, or even no friends?
Independence: Are they needy? Stoic? Indifferent until they need something, or perhaps willing to help others but never to ask for help?
Loyalty: Are they a friend to the end? Selectively devoted? Flighty?
New Situations: How do they approach new situations?
Energy/Play: How energetic are they? Are they selectively hyper, or are they stuck on 'Energizer Bunny?' How do they like to shake off all that excess spirit? What are they like when they're in a feisty/playful mood?
Fears: What are they afraid of? How do they respond?
Environment: Where are they happiest? Ex. outdoors, running around, by a fireplace with a good book, at a party
Mantra: Optional. Are there any words your character lives by?
Other: Optional. Anything else I/we should know?
A Cute Gif of Your Character: Optional. If you have one gif you would like to share, we would like to see that one gif. I will also accept dog gifs.
Marilyn Fairchild
House: Ribbonfin
Profile: Link me.
Social Disposition: Marilyn is very friendly to everyone she meets. She doesn't have the presence of mind to be wary or even avoid bullies, being too afraid of not being liked or rejected. She is so sweet that she'll give you a cavity. Seriously.
Independence: Marilyn can definitely be needy. She's the sidekick, the follower, not a leader. She knows how to take care of creatures and make sure she doesn't starve, but she definitely needs direction and attention from others to really be satisfied.
Loyalty: She is definitely loyal, but also doesn't know when to stop giving second chances. Sure, she's a bit warier after what happened, but truth be told she doesn't stand up for herself still. She'll speak up for friends, but backs down rather easily.
New Situations: With an optimistic outlook that might get on people's nerves. And lots of excitement.
Energy/Play: She's very high energy, very upbeat, very much motion-oriented.
Fears: Being made fun of. Being mean. Not being liked. She definitely adopts the ostrich in the sand approach when she feels fear or anything negative. If she ignores it then it'll go away right?
Environment: Outdoors FOR SURE. Around people. On her broom.
Mantra: Treat others how you want to be treated.
Other: She needs so much love, guys.
A Cute Gif of Your Character:
Re: Marilyn Fairchild
Marilyn is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel!
- These dogs were bred specifically to be lap-warming companions. They love everybody and are so, so friendly. Children? Check! Other dogs? Check! Hamsters? Check!
- Oh, a new situation? And there are people? YAY!
- They like big dogs and small dogs, which can sometimes get them in trouble if the (often bigger) dogs aren't as well-trained. :(
- They love to play and go on adventures, as long as they have friends along for the ride!
- Time for my favourite Wikipedia quote: "most Cavaliers will never become 'street-wise.'"
Bonus: one of our faculty brings her cav into work! He's a total sweetie and he loves everyone.
Re: Marilyn Fairchild
That is so cute about the cav and work. Why don't people bring dogs into my work?
Re: Marilyn Fairchild
MAKE THEM LET YOU! We have up to 6 regular dogs that come in, I think? 3 main ones (mine's one). It helps that it's a uni department so a lot of people have their own offices.
